Μου άρεσε My interaction with the owners was easy and they were really accommodating. Lovely location with open views on a working pig farm. It’s a basic campsite and promoted as such but does offer showers, washing up areas, rubbish and chemical toilet disposal. Everything is kept clean and tidy. They also allow BBQ’s and you can rent fire pits and buy logs. There is an honesty shop offering eggs and preserves. We stayed 3 nights whilst we visited the area and would definitely go again.

Δεν μου άρεσε Not really Dislikes but worth advising others…… I couldn’t get much WiFi 1 or 2 bars of intermediate 4G but it didn’t really matter. Need to be aware that Pigs are noisy , not a problem to us but to be expected on a working pig farm.

Μου άρεσε Bus at end of lane every 20 mins in both directions.

Δεν μου άρεσε Everything is old and neglected, whole place run down and needs investment. Rubbish overflowing, toilets and showers need refurbishing and a good clean.

Δεν μου άρεσε Bathrooms ok, needed restocking and cleaning more often than they were and the site wasn’t busy when we were there. Very poor 5G signal so WiFi would have given them another star from me.

Μου άρεσε Beautiful site, well organised and kept immaculately. The hosts are attentive and welcoming. Short trip to the park and ride to get into York city. We had 3 nights and will be sure to return here to explore more of the area.
