Μου άρεσε We had such a wonderful couple of nights camping at The Heart of Exmoor. The campsite was lovely and peaceful, with beautiful surroundings and plenty of space to relax and enjoy the outdoors. It was also a fantastic spot for stargazing! Serena was a great host and was really helpful with any questions or queries we had during our stay. Overall, we had a fantastic, peaceful couple of nights and the campsite was perfect for what we were looking for. We’d definitely recommend, and would happily stay again! ⭐️

Μου άρεσε We stayed here last year and had to come back! It’s so peaceful with stunning scenery, and the morning coffee is excellent. The site is mostly flat, making it ideal for campervans. The showers are hot and well-maintained, with the option of a family shower or separate ones, and the provided kettle was really handy.

Δεν μου άρεσε Our only suggestion would be to have mirrors above all three sinks rather than just one, as it can get busy when people are getting ready in the morning or evening.

Μου άρεσε We loved our stay! The pitch was nicely sheltered, and the on-site café served fantastic coffee and breakfast with friendly, welcoming staff and great views. Before our arrival, a lovely lady even called to make sure we had clear directions, which was really helpful. Highly recommend!

Δεν μου άρεσε The only downside was that the showers were a bit dire, but overall it was a very enjoyable stay.

They were fully cleaned daily, but if the issue was linked to some of the doors which had broken and had been replaced with shower curtains, we are looking to refurbish/replace these for 2026. Μου άρεσε The reception staff were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to recommend great places to eat. The whole site was nice and flat, so we didn’t need to use van levellers at all. The grounds were well-kept, the shower was consistently warm, and the shower rooms were spacious.Overall, a very well-maintained and welcoming site.

Μου άρεσε So peaceful, with easy check-in and excellent communication. Nice hot showers and a well-maintained campsite overall.

Δεν μου άρεσε No signal in the field, which was expected because of the location. The toilets are a bit of a trek, especially at night along the dark gravel track – a portaloo nearby would be handy. Despite that, it’s such a peaceful spot that we’ll definitely be back!

Μου άρεσε We loved everything. The place is very peaceful with fantastic views, nice showers and washing up block. The canteen was lovely, nice food & coffee!

Μου άρεσε The view was stunning! The campsite was beautiful and very peaceful, ideal for stargazing due to minimal light pollution. There were plenty of pitches on level ground. The hosts were lovely and greeted us warmly. Additionally, the portaloos were very clean.

Μου άρεσε Staff were very friendly & understanding. The site has good security, needing a pin for the gate, so that you felt safe. Stunning views, great facilities, the showers were massive! We’ll definitely be back soon. We loved the tractor museum too!
