Μου άρεσε Nice view. Nice to be greeted and welcomed by the host. Really good facilities. Planning to stay there again on my way home.

Μου άρεσε Waterside location. Peace and quiet (when fellow campers weren't talking loudly). Really good facilities.

Δεν μου άρεσε River was not accessible to swim in. Occasional smell from stagnant water.

Μου άρεσε Best view of any site I've visited and best facilities. Spotless showers and indoor washing up in a beautiful building. Amazing. Sally was very welcoming and friendly.

Από τον διαχειριστή: Thank you Veronica, your photos are beautiful.

Μου άρεσε Enjoyed it last year, so decided to go back. Very quiet despite being school holidays. Riverside pitch. Swam in the river. Watched kingfishers.

Μου άρεσε Woodland setting.

Δεν μου άρεσε Not obvious where to park. Top spaces were too muddy/soft. As rain was forecast overnight, I was worried about getting stuck, so I moved to the only space I could see, which was just inside the gates, close to the road. I might as well have just parked in a lay-by somewhere. Didn't feel particularly safe.

Από τον διαχειριστή: Hi Veronica thanks for your review I’m not sure why you booked our site as it states it is small wild camping site with very basic facilities We contacted you prior to your stay and explained the parking to you and location there are seven areas to park although we only utilise three. I’m not sure what you expect for a small £10 fee for a pitch in a country park ? I’m also not sure why you didn’t contact us on the number we txted you on the previous week which would have given you a resolution . We also note that your reviews for other sites Are in the whole very low scoring it would seem that you may be better of booking large caravan sites to get what you want although I doubt it will be £10 All of our reviews are on our advert and so far have been excellent Sorry you did not enjoy your stay

Μου άρεσε Lovely views. Great toilet/shower building. Nice to see boxes for all kinds of recycling. Friendly host.

Μου άρεσε Shower block

Δεν μου άρεσε Noisy birds. Lots of them, nesting in the trees right by the site.

Μου άρεσε The view

Δεν μου άρεσε Ground was completely unsuitable for campervans. The field slopes and the long grass hid wet soft ground which my campervan got stuck in. My 3 night booking should not have been accepted. Had to be towed off the field. Left after one night. Very stressful.

Από τον διαχειριστή: Sorry that you had such a bad experience, unfortunately the weather is out of our control and we assume that most people realise the ground will be wet in such horrible weather. I’m pleased we were able to help so much by towing you out and trying to make sure we did everything possible to assist you.

Μου άρεσε Open space. Power showers. Well equipped kitchen.

Δεν μου άρεσε Unsociable behaviour from large family groups with children. Played loud music over the weekend. No WiFi
