Μου άρεσε Amazing view of Mont Blanc, near swimming lakes. Affordable, good electricity, warm showers, some shady pitches, clean facilities.

Δεν μου άρεσε Bit of noise from road. One of the blocks is quite dated. No recycling

Μου άρεσε Vrij toegang tot het meer en moderne WC en douches. Ook het restaurant bij het meer (zelfde eigenaar) is heel goed! Vissen en eenden komen dichtbij in het water, leuk om mee bezig te zijn

Δεν μου άρεσε Wat toestellen en dergelijke rondom het meer zijn vervallen/oud, op de staplaatsen hoor je zowel de snelweg en het treinspoor. Snelweg is wat zachter achtergrond geluid, trein is wel dichtbij, maar komt niet super vaak langs.

Μου άρεσε The site was amazing. Beautiful lakeside location. The big lake next to the resteraunt was great for swimming in. The resteraunt was well priced and the food was lovely. The owner Beatrice was a great host with information on amazing places to visit in the area. Will definitely return at some point.

Μου άρεσε We made the booking last min while traveling around France. The owner responded straight away with the booking conformation and asking our arrival time and left us the pin number for the gate if we had any delay. On arrival Beatrice the owner made us feel at home again. This is not our first time that we have used this camp site. The toilets are immaculate and the site was very clean. We cant comment on the restaurant as it was out of the main season so was not open. The weather was fantastic and we had the lounge and main lake to ourselves. Beatrice also insisted that we must use her boat to explore the lake, as we were very interested in the wildlife that surrounds the site. We explored the area but its a little walk to the train station so it maybe that some will need a taxi to get there and back. Over the train line is a lake that is great for the younger children with shallow waters that can be used. Maybe old fashioned to some people looking for all the bells and frizz, but to others its a hidden gem. We cant comment on the Wifi as we used our unlimited data off our phones and linked our now box to get TV when we wanted.

Δεν μου άρεσε Some reviews say noise from the main road but this dosent affect the peace of the site. The train line is also close but again it dosent affect the site the warning bell is more louder then the train and thats not loud, and it only runs once and hour at most and thats if you notice it.
I would say that in high season that some would be upset as the pitches are not marked out and this would be a problem for them as it would mean that they would have to find a spot.

Δεν μου άρεσε Electricity supply was faulty although recently installed. Some of the connections I tried didn’t work and the ones that did were not earthed. We had booked and paid to stay 4 nights but left after 1 night.

The camping has been full all summer with a lot of english clients and nobody did complain about the electricity.
About the weather i cannot do anything...
You did arrive and did drive to fast to arrive by us. You did scratch your brand new caravane that s why your answer was we ve got a death in our family and must go back tomorrow. 😉

Μου άρεσε Not staying and leaving straight away after looking around the site.

Δεν μου άρεσε This doesn't look like the photos online. It has a little swamp in the middle, I think they described as a lake. The toilet block over the far side was a bit more modern, however the main block was disgusting and all facilities were old and very tired. All around the site was not colourful with graffiti and limited electric spots. It is not a place to stay with poor weather as all pitches muddy and boggy. The lady at reception was nice and helpful., however, It took time to see the entrance as it was not very clear with sign posts and then we hadn't been given a code. It situated alongside a dual carriageway on one side and a train track the other. This definitely doesn't display what it advertised.
The restaurant was closed for the season and the lake of which did look nice. I would not recommend. Extremely disappointed and more importantly paying for something incorrectly advertised.
I have used pitchup for years as a trusted app and this time I am dissatisfied.
