Δεν μου άρεσε Pricey for such basic facilities. There was only one other caravan and with only one room with a toilet and shower, it wasn’t a problem, but I can see it would be very difficult for more campers.

We’re pleased you enjoyed your stay and your walk down to Tresaith beach although, as you discovered, the walk back is certainly a little more challenging!

Just to clarify for future guests, Plas Y Wern is a small certificated site with 5 touring pitches, and our nightly rate of £30 includes a level electric pitch, 16-amp electricity, fresh water, grey waste and cassette disposal, WiFi and use of the toilet and shower facilities. During your stay there was only one other caravan on site, whose occupants had their own facilities, so the toilet and shower were available exclusively to you most of the time.

We appreciate that shared facilities are not for everyone, and we are continually investing in the site. We have recently purchased an additional toilet for the main field, which will be available shortly, making the facilities even more convenient for our campers.

We’re sorry you didn’t make use of some of the other facilities and information available during your stay. Our guest guide includes details of the free WiFi, our coastal-view hot bath, walks around the seven acres, the dog exercise field, local beaches, places to eat and even local taxi options for anyone who would prefer not to tackle the walk back from Tresaith. Being on a budget you may not have opted for this option but its avilable and covered in my very comprehensive guest guide.

Δεν μου άρεσε Having only 1 toilet and shower spoilt it for us unfortunately. I had to wait 10 minutes in the pouring rain for the toilet one morning. No shelter when waiting outside the toilet either. Toilet and shower room easily big enough to be converted to 2 toilets and showers. 1 is just not practical when you have all pitches full. Such a shame as the site is lovely apart from this.

We’re sorry that the shared toilet and shower caused frustration, particularly having to wait in the rain. We completely understand how this can be inconvenient when the site is full.

Unfortunately, the existing toilet and shower room isn’t physically large enough to be converted into two separate toilet and shower rooms, but we are always looking at ways to improve the facilities. We will be adding an additional toilet on the field and are also planning to separate the existing shower and toilet areas, so that the toilet can still be used while someone is showering.

We really appreciate you taking the time to give us constructive feedback. We’ve invested a lot into improving the site, including our new level hardstanding pitches, and we’ll continue to look for ways to make guests’ stays even better. Δεν μου άρεσε As other reviewers have mentioned, there is only one toilet on site that everyone has to share. This was extremely disruptive especially since the shower is on the same room as the toilet. I have stayed in multiple campsites with less amenities and even those had at least two toilets. I didn’t realise this was the case and if I did, I wouldn’t have booked this pitch for two nights. There is definitely space on the campsite to get more than one toilet in, so this to me was puzzling and off putting.
The wifi didn’t work very well on the bottom fields but not a big deal

We do appreciate your comments regarding the toilet and shower facilities. We are a small site and currently have one combined toilet and shower, which is clearly something we need to improve. We are looking at adding an additional toilet facility over the winter, as we recognise that having a separate toilet would make things much more convenient, particularly when the site is busy.

We have also invested considerably in the site this year, including new level hardstanding pitches, and we’re continuing to make improvements where we can.

We appreciate your comments regarding the Wi-Fi and toilet facilities. Our Wi-Fi has generally been very reliable, and we’ve even had guests working from the site during their stays. However, being in a rural coastal location, there can occasionally be fluctuations.

As a small Certified Location (CL) site, our facilities are designed around our limited number of pitches, so unfortunately adding another toilet isn’t something we’re able to do. We’re especially pleased to hear that you thought our shower and toilet facility was the best you’ve ever used — that’s fantastic feedback!
