Main toilet/shower block showers were really cramped only room for one at a time
Pod was very disappointing only fold down sofa bed and bunk beds only suitable for small fit adults or children. A tiny high up shelf and nothing else. Warm weather the bbq table outside would suffice but April too cold so nowhere to sit and eat inside.
Constant noise from main road nearby

Facility Maintenance & Showers
We take cleanliness and maintenance very seriously. Regarding the flooding you mentioned, we did have one report of a blocked drain in the amenity block; however, this was resolved within 30 minutes of being reported.

While the standard showers are designed to be compact, we do offer two standalone shower units at the rear of the block which provide a bit more space for our guests' comfort.

Accommodation & Equipment
We aim for full transparency regarding our pod layouts. The website description explicitly states that guests should "bring all camping equipment minus the tent," including linen, sleeping bags, and cooking equipment. The sleeping arrangements are listed as:

1 x Bunk bed

1 x Double sofa/futon

No internal toilet or shower (shared facilities only)

As these are traditional camping pods, they are designed to provide a cosy, dry base for outdoor enthusiasts. We understand that during the colder April weather, the lack of indoor dining space can be a challenge if the outdoor picnic area is not in use.

Location
Our proximity to the main road provides easy access to the local area, though we understand that road noise can vary depending on individual sensitivity and traffic flow.

I would like to sincerely apologize for the inconvenience regarding the pitch slope and the missing Wi-Fi information. To provide some context:

Pitch Allocation: Because your booking was made just a day prior to arrival, our flat pitches specifically reserved for motorhomes had already been fully booked. We always aim to provide the most level ground possible, but last-minute availability can occasionally be limited.

Wi-Fi Details: Our team usually provides Wi-Fi credentials during the check-in process. However, as you arrived after reception had closed, I understand this vital bit of info was missed.

Moving forward: We take your private feedback seriously. We are currently reviewing our Late Arrival Welcome Packs to ensure Wi-Fi details and other essential instructions are clearly included for guests arriving out of hours.

We appreciate your patience and hope to welcome you back again—perhaps with a bit more lead time so we can snag you one of those flatter spots!

Regarding your feedback on the Wi-Fi, I'm sorry you missed out on using it! We do advertise Wi-Fi on Pitch-up to help guests plan ahead, but we’ll look into making the login details more prominent on-site so they are easier to find.

Μου άρεσε Stayed in a pod. Basically just a bedroom. But comfy mattress and plenty of space to spread out. Lots of power points but none near the beds.....good thing...? I thought so.

Μου άρεσε Plenty of space on the pitches, quiet site, nicely situated just on the edge of Coldstream town so you can walk in to grab some food or nip to the shops. Beautiful scenery and good/clean amenities. Nice and polite customer service. All made me feel very welcome.

Μου άρεσε We stayed in pod 4 one of the basic ones without the hot tub. It was ample for our needs (2 adults and 2 kids 10 and 11). We found the pod to be clean, well situated with a lovely view, warm and with plenty of power outlets and charging points. The amenities were clean and easy to use and access, with clear instructions on things like rubbish disposal. A good spot for parking and an on-site play area which the kids accessed on the first night after a long drive.

The setting was beautiful and we had the privilege of seeing lot's of birds and were visited by a random hare passing through! It was peaceful and quiet. With great links to Edinburgh and Holy island.
I would encourage people to bring some over door hooks so you have somewhere to hang coats and jackets.
Overall would highly recommend.
