Arthingworth Camping

Μου άρεσε Lovely location, pitched up by the brook with a great view. Novelty twin toilet cabins were an amusing surprise.

Μου άρεσε The very spacious pitch size. The
attentive campsite owner Ava who checked on us several times to make sure we were ok.
The compost toilets were kept nice and clean.
The campsite vibe was really friendly.
The 12.30pm checkout time.

Δεν μου άρεσε I was hoping to be able to park my car next to my pitch while I unloaded. It did state that cars were only allowed in the car park and I did assume this. There were pitches next to the car park and we chose one of those. I also saw others using a wheel barrow that I assume was available to borrow to help transport peoples items.

Μου άρεσε I had a wonderful experience! The communication was excellent both verbally from the friendly staff Eva and helpful signage across the site, making it easy to navigate and follow guidelines. Checking in was smooth and easy.

The space was clean and well-maintained, with tidy facilities and a lovely pantry area stocked with essentials. The overall atmosphere was peaceful and quiet, perfect for a relaxing getaway.

Will definitely be returning!

Μου άρεσε The beautiful surroundings, clear instructions and information, loved the little camp shop and great toilets, something here for everyone . Host arrived to say hello armed with free lce lollys.

Μου άρεσε First time here. What a gem. Eva is fantastic. Arrived in 34c heat having cycled in. Eva came to introduce herself and a chat. Then offered an ice lolly. I gladly accepted.
The pitches are well distanced. Found a little shade in the tree line by the brook.
Other campers were very friendly. Making an overall pleasing experience.
On a footnote.. toilets were very clean. No unpleasant odours. With plenty of room inside. A neat little shop with an honesty book. Bring change though.
All this at a reasonable price

Μου άρεσε From contacting Eva to ask if we could arrive early and getting a resounding yes I knew we were heading to a welcoming site.
It was easy to find and very clear signage set out a few inclusive instructions and barrows provided made getting to the spacious, level pitch.
The no cars on site kept retained a very natural feel and with swallows, kites and swifts wheeling overhead, we quickly relaxed into the beautiful calm surroundings.
A wonderfully stocked ‘pantry’ with local honey, eggs and sweet treats was a gorgeous addition and just added to the welcome and sharing feel.
Very well presented compost toilets kept with the natural feel of the site and they were set in dry, gravelled area.
We will return as the site was so relaxing and welcoming we didn’t leave site until absolutely needing to so didn’t get to the Kelmarsh tunnels or the local pub.

Μου άρεσε Loved how basic and back to nature this place was. Took my son on his first camping trip to show him what it was like to sleep under the stars and he absolutely loved it. Will definitely use this place again next year

Δεν μου άρεσε There was not a single thing I disliked the people staying on the site was lovely lots of happy kids running round. Just a wholesome experience.

Μου άρεσε We had a brilliant stay at Arthingworth Camping Site. Everything we needed, very private spot, lovely surroundings. Clean toilets & a lovely little “pop up” pantry where you could purchase a few necessities if needed, we purchased some fire wood & put the money in an honesty tin which I thought was a lovely idea 😊
Would definitely return.

Δεν μου άρεσε A long walk from our car to our camping spot. Would prefer parking next to pitch or at least be able to drive to drop our belongings off.
Wheelbarrows were supplied though which was helpful 😊

Μου άρεσε We loved the campsite. It was a beautiful long field with plenty of space between pitches. We were only staying for 1 night so stayed fairly close to the entrance. The toilets were super clean and smelled fresh all the time. There was a nice little larder with eggs, cakes and other bits and bobs with an honesty box to pay.
Fresh water available via a tap near the entrance. We saw the owner a couple of times and she was friendly and helpful.
During the evening we used one of the fire pits on site and bought a sack of wood and had a campfire.
