Seasonal savings – spring and summer deals from £3.60 a night

The sun, he came out this week and he had his hat on. We would normally say that very quietly in mid-March in case he goeth away again, but British Summer Time starts on 30March, we get an extra hour of sunny evening light, and we are feeling a decided spring in our step. (Hence, we are steadfastly ignoring any forecasts of rain.)

25% off static caravan and 10% off camping pod, Whitehill Country Park , Devon : Award-winning Whitehill is in a wildlife haven a couple of miles from the family-friendly beach of Goodrington between Torquay and Brixham. From 21 April – 19 May, a discounted stay in its Chaffinch two-bedroom static starts from £169.50 for seven nights. The park’s Orchard camping pod has 10% off from 22 April – 23 May, from £22.15 a night.

15% off deluxe static caravans and holiday homes, Clashwhannon Caravan Park , Dumfries and Galloway : Spend a fishing and birdwatching week at this Stranraer park overlooking Luce Bay in the Rhins. Two-bedroom fully-equipped and heated caravans are discounted from now until 30 April and 1 – 21 May, from £51 a night.
