'The ultimate campervan' - yours for £1.2 million

It’s a ‘palace on wheels’, has a secret compartment to store a Ferrari…and comes with a price tag of £1.2 million.

The new Volkner Mobil Performance Bus is guaranteed to cause motorhome envy, with its luxury leather sofas, widescreen TV and fully-sized kitchen complete with dishwasher and large fridge-freezer. There’s even a power shower in the bathroom.

The 40ft-long luxury bus, described as ‘the ultimate campervan’, can be customised according to taste and comes made to order, with each taking around a year to build. Prices start at £750,000, going up to £1.2 million for the fully-loaded version. Orders have already been received from around the world.

'Our philosophy is to build the ultimate in luxury and we see it as a house on wheels which can be driven all around the world,’ said Stephanie Volkner of Volkner Mobil.

Luxury campervans and motorhomes have long been known in the celebrity world, with Robert de Niro regularly rolling his $2 million luxury RV up to film sets. Simon Cowell is also a fan of the luxury motorhome, while Posh and Becks take to the road as often as possible in a £260,000 motorhome.
