If you're planning to go off cycling and camping this week, you could join in with the Samsung Bike Week starting on Saturday 16th and be in with the chance to win tickets to the Olympics.
The Bike Week aims to be a national celebration of cycling, aimed at getting more people to cycle, more often. It's the UK’s biggest mass participation cycling event and will have around half a million participants at events all over the country - take a look at their site to see what's on or to set up your own event.
You can also sign up for the Samsung Hope Relay, where you can download a free app that tracks every mile you travel on your bike or on foot. For every mile completed, Samsung will donate £1 to charities such as London 2012's international sports legacy programme, International Inspiration, and tickets to Olympic events will be given to the event or individual logging the most miles in the run up to the Games.
Make a holiday of it by finding campsites and caravan parks with cycle hire on site or nearby, or take a look at our guide to cycling and camping for some tips. All our listed sites also have details of National Cycle Network routes nearby, covering around 12,000 miles.
