Camping La Pinada

Camping La Pinada is half a kilometre from its local town Enguera, where there’s a padel tennis court and a municipal swimming pool… as well as several popular little places for local happy hour. Elsewhere, get out into the splendid Sierra de Enguera range from the site, for hiking, mountain biking and horse riding, as well as pottering around old archaeological sites like the remains of Enguera’s old Moorish castle. The Museo Arqueológico de Enguera ,10 minutes’ walk away in the town’s old post office, has palaeontological and archaeological exhibits, Middle Ages artefacts and a Fine Arts gallery. Accessible trails nearby include the 12-kilometre nature path of the Enguera Nature Park in the La Pinada surroundings (ask for details on site) and hikes to El Salto de Chella waterfall from the village of Chella, 10 minutes’ drive away. Springs, fountains and small streams flow and trickle around here too: take the Ruta del Agua path to pass the waterways of Benali, Huesca, Cebolla, Roya and Arenas.
