Tilføj oplysninger om din virksomhedA comfy place to stay coupled with gorgeous views straight out over Lake Garda? It’s a fine mix indeed on offer at SunLodge at Camping Cisano San Vito, right on the water’s edge between Lazise and Bardolino (and less than five minutes’ drive from both).
The smart, well-equipped static caravans here are set up at a Veneto site that’s actually made up of two campsites – and that means a whole lot of facilities to explore while you’re here. You’re free to move freely between the two sections as you wish; they’re linked by a path or a tunnel (most handy if you’ve got kids wandering around).
The views out over the lake are pretty stunning and may well capture the grownups’ attention for quite some time. Kids, meanwhile, may find themselves more taken with the watery options presented by the lake’s watersports (kayaks and banana boats among them) or the choice of the three swimming pools – especially the one with the slides and water play area.
When they’re not splashing about in the pools, there’s a good list of other activities for them to get stuck into – games of football or tennis perhaps, or a kids’ club session that might involve various crafts or dance.
For eats, you’ve got the choice of using the well-equipped kitchen in your caravan or taking a table at one of the restaurants – take your pick from a family-friendly pizza or a rather more romantic setup at the tables overlooking the lake. And the day’s not over yet – there may well still be karaoke or dancing to come…

Italy’s biggest lake is a popular destination, and with good reason… Lake Garda is a scenic place, and it’s got plenty of things to do too. The best way to start is to spend some time in the lakeside villages within 10 minutes’ drive – Bardolino for its lake swims and Thursday market, Garda for its harbour and villas and Lazise for its medieval alleys and castle.
You may have to travel a little further if you’re going to tick off all the top sights, but it’s worth it… especially if you get to see the castle in Sirmione (half an hour’s drive) and see it all from above at clifftop Castello di Arco (an hour).
There’s a good range of things to keep the kids amused too: the rides of Gardaland, the slides of Caneva Aquapark and the cinema-themed attractions of Movieland Studios are all along the lake’s edge within a 10-minute drive, or you can head up to the hills for a safari among live animals and life-size dinosaur models at Parco Natura Viva (also 10 minutes).
