Camping de Cognac

Cognac’s tiptop attractions are within easy reach of this excellently located park: the Royal Château of Cognac, Cognac Public Garden and the Musée d'Art et d'Histoire are all about a five-minute drive away. For alcohol aficionados, another museum – the Musée des Arts du Cognac, a centre dedicated to the history and production of cognac – is well worth a look, and tours and tastings of the liquor are available at the famed Remy Martin Cognac distillery (both 10 minutes). Can’t find a babysitter for the younger members of your crew? Skip the sipping and take them to the treetop courses at the Adventure Park Valley Fontdouce (20 minutes), then top off your trip with a treasure hunt around The Castle of Riddles (half an hour) and a visit to the unorthodox sculptures at Les Lapidiales park (45 minutes).
