Domaine Résidentiel de Plein-Air Atlantic Club Montalivet

Vendays-Montalivet, situated between the sea, salt marshes and the forest, is a little town in Aquitaine only 80km from Bordeaux, at the heart of the Médoc region. A very special site on the Atlantic coast, which enjoys a particularly pleasant climate in a magnificent setting including 12km of sandy beaches, huge forests for hiking or bike rides and marshlands housing a variety of flora and fauna, Vendays-Montalivet is also a lively and sporty seaside resort, perfect for a family holiday beside the ocean. Our fully-renovated Domaine Résidentiel de Plein-Air Atlantic Club Montalivet has been designed to offer a splendid holiday by the sea: it has direct access to the beach and is just 10km from the village of Vendays-Montalivet. Facilities on site include a bar, restaurant with television, snack bar, takeaway, grocery store, wine cellar and you can buy newspapers and get tourist information from reception. The water park (an area of around 750m²) has a heated, outdoor swimming pool with waterslides and a heated paddling pool. The campsite also has a natural sandy beach, an outdoor fitness area, a pétanque area, table tennis and a multisports ground for football, basketball and volleyball. Mini golf and golf courses are available near the campsite and a bicycle path starts only 0.5km from the campsite. For children we have a playground as well as the Topi Club (for ages four to 12) and activities for teens too. Horseback riding, tennis courts, sauna, sports room, beauty treatment and surfing classes are available on site or close by, however extra charges apply.

From Tours: take the A10 south and at Saintes take the N150 towards Royan, then heading to Soulac-sur-Mer. From Soulac, take the D101 to Vendays-Montalivet then the D102 west and make a left onto Avenue de l'Europe. The campsite will be on your left-hand side.

Lokale seværdigheder

Village market (4km): during the summer months Montalivet holds its market, the biggest in the region, which is well known for its wide range of products and its fantastic atmosphere as there are over 250 stalls. Parc de l'Aventure (3km): located in Lède de Montalivet, it consists of six different trails and 45 activities which test your qualities, in a pine forest typical of the region, next to the beach. Karting Quad Montalivet (3km): just three minutes from Montalivet, KQM offers go-karting on a 800m track as well as quads on a sand track. Châteaux du Médoc tour (30km): visit more than 200 castles with remarkable architecture and sample some of the most famous wines the region has to offer. Cordouan lighthouse (37km): the oldest French lighthouse still in operation, it has a wonderfully-decorated interior and boat trips are organized throughout the summer. La Dune du Pilat (126km): reaching a height of 117, the tallest sand dune in Europe offers a physical break with the reward being a wonderful panoramic view of the Arcachon basin.
