Syntes om The Views were very nice, the staff were polite and quick to meet you on arrival. The facilities were modern clean and functional. The pitches are large and flat. A great pub serving amazing Indian food a short walk away.

Syntes ikke om We was really disappointed with the lack of ablutions. For the men the only option for a sink wash was a tiny hand basin next to a urinal or the same in the toilet. There was only two toilets and one urinal available throughout the stay, so made busy periods testing. The only other option was to use one of the two showers to brush your teeth or wash your face. The women seem to have been catered for better with an actual sink and few more showers.
Non of the taps or showers had actual hot water, it was all running warm regardless of the time of day.
No hand dryers or paper towels, if you use the toilets and wash your hands take your own towl.
Road noise is quite an issue here ( not the camp sites fault) the site is right on a busy road, the traffic lights controlling the single lane traffic over the bridge seem to be used as race track starting light at the weekend, we hoped this calmed down by night fall, but didn't ease until 2300.

This particular weekend the facilities were more than adequate for the 7 pitches on site, with no queues observed. Available were 5 toilets & a urinal, all 6 having their own wash hand basin & hand wash, & also 3 showers & 4 larger sinks for cleansing &/or washing up, all with hot water at a safe temperature so as not to scald young children. There was a shared hand drier available, however, most campers bring their own towels, toiletries & personal essentials when cleansing, but if anyone forgets an item we always try to help out if we can. Our cut grass pitch prices have been fairly costed out based on the amount of people, pets & electric hook up & they all have use of the clean facilities & powerful showers (at no extra cost).

Syntes om Clean, spacey and quiet at night. A nice place to relax. Lake Vyrnyl, the Rodney pillar and beautiful nature - all worth the visit. Very friendly and competent staff. A thoroughly enjoyable experience!

Syntes om Fantastic couple of days away!
The facilities were clean and tidy, and the owners were very relaxed and helpful. There are some lovely walks in the area, and a pub just a 15–20 minute walk away. We stayed in our campervan on the main field without a hookup, and the owners kindly arranged a second pitch so our friends could set up their tent next to us. A great experience all around!

Syntes om The site and the area around the site was amazing. Plenty of walks and scenery to look at. Camp was busy for bank holiday but wasn't too loud. Kids and family where booked together and adults on the back wall. It was very well laid out. The toilets where amazing and the showers. The couple that own the camp are very helpful and are always about to check if everything is okay. Bins are emptied camp is clean and the toilets where never dirty. 10/10.

Syntes om Clean and well lit facilities, good and free shower, good recycling and waste. Seemed like a well organised and well ran place. Can't argue with the price either. Quiet rules were obeyed. Easy to get too, nice views, lots of walking around the area. Firepit and wood for cheap from the owners. Seemed popular with families, nice to see kids playing in the long grass in the middle. Loved engraved mirrors.

Will stay again, no question.

Warning! If you go walking along the Severn on the camp site side of the road bridge, the two crossings shown close to each other on ordnance survey maps do not exist (satellite maps confirm this)!

Syntes ikke om Facilities are cramped and limited, though being a warm bank holiday didn't help.The use of rough wood in some places is a little concerning, and a little odd given the lovely finishing elsewhere. The showers need curtains to keep clothes dry, even when hung up on the back of the door. Even with a torch it's hard to see where the edges of the mowed road are in the top field when walking to/from the toilets at night. Some markings would be nice. Easy to get to from a good road, but this also means road noise, some big vehicles early in the morning. Wouldn't want to be in a tent in the bottom fields.
