Park Farm Campsite is a wildlife haven - it's part of an organic dairy farm spread over 250 acres of peaceful Wiltshire countryside 10 minutes’ drive from Royal Wootton Bassett. A stay here will give you something of a glimpse into proper farming life: around 120 cows are milked twice daily, and you’ll be able to see them and a small herd of Belted Galloway beef cows going about their life in the neighbouring fields. A small flock of chickens live here too, so you can buy fresh eggs on site for a fab farm-style breakfast. A small flock of chickens live here too, and there's a small honesty shop where you can pick up eggs, local jams, farm-made apple juice, marshmallows and other treats. Plus, fresh takeaway pizzas are served most evenings. There’s only a handful of pitches at this peaceful site, so you should have plenty of space in which to relax and unwind while looking out over the rural views (sunrises are particularly fine around here if you can haul yourselves out of bed in time). If you’d prefer to take in the scenery on the move, take a wander along the footpaths around the farm and out into the surrounding woods or pedal off along National Cycle Route 254, which runs past the site. Looking a little further afield, it’s a drive of around 15 minutes to the historic town of Malmesbury and the edge of the Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (a place of many lovely things to see and do). Facilities on site are pretty simple, with three compost loos, one urinal and two gas-heated showers. A covered hand basin and washing-up area are available too, and here you can also pick up some local info and maps. A local pub is three miles away if you fancy an evening out.

Syntes om Beautiful campsite with fantastic views!
Clean eco facilities - the compost toilets, outdoor showers and fill washing up liquid were fab!
Loved the honesty shop and the sandpit too!
Great that we could have a fire pit and Zoe the owner was really welcoming and accommodating.
Definitely need to try the sauna next time.

Syntes om We had a wonderful stay at Park Farm campsite. The owners Ed and Zoe were so welcoming, and were around to help with any queries when needed. Ed kindly took my son and his Dad to see the cows being milked which was fascinating to us city dwellers. The pitches are spacious, the campsite is clean and feels like you are in a meadow. We saw birds of prey, hares, and the cows walking out to be milked twice a day. The campsite was definitely a safe space for children to run around and play. There’s a go-cart and a sandpit which occupied the kids for hours. Lovely little touches like wild flowers and dahlias in a vase in the washing up area add a boho pretty ambience. Superb showers and clean eco toilets. Fresh eggs, delicious honey, apple juice available in the honesty box system as well as logs and a fire pit if you want to use one. There’s a sauna which you can book online and an ice bath too, which was so relaxing. We had the best time and will definitely be back.

Syntes om There is a lovely relaxed vibe on this site. Beautiful views, spotless facilities and a very cute little shop which sells eggs, honey, marshmallows and logs amongst other things. A big sandpit for the kids who were loving it. Lots of toys to play with too. A lot of thought has gone into providing campers with what they need to enjoy their stay. We will be back!

Syntes om Very spacious pitch, good the facilities on site. The owners were very friendly and approachable. First time using a composted toilet, clean and probably more so than a regular toilet. Highly recommend bring some loose change, there’s a little tuck shop selling homemade/local produce.

Syntes ikke om The only niggle was I wasn’t aware the site had as much to offer, shower for example. Was speaking to another camper and they said they’d book via a different site and that had stated showers were available.
