Syntes om Pool was excellent, quiet, toilet/shower blocks were really clean, shop was well stocked and reasonably priced.

Syntes om Perfect camp site for families. The facilities are spot on. Immaculate toilets and showers, and I mean pristine. Really new looking, always clean and warm. Good washing up station.

The play park is good fun and even a little club house open for a few hours in the evening serving food and drink which we didn't expect. Lovely big area to run around in by the park too.

The shop is well stocked and has everything you need. Lovely ladies working there, my shy, sensitive boy felt happy to go on errands on his own to the shop and said the lady was lovely. The prices are also very reasonable, my children bought little toys for pocket money.

The pool is glorious, cool in warm weather but as its heated you dont get too cold after a while. Booking is easy and we went twice in one day.

Spacious, nicely level pitches. It seemed quiet when we were there and only a few campers in our paddock. Hedges seperate the field which I like as I like the bedroom of our tent backing onto the hedge for extra noise protection. Loads of room around the pitches to play ball or Frisbee of an evening.

The site has rules around noise which are adhered to which I appreciate as having been to a site before spoilt by rowdy, inconsiderate campers its nice to know everyone's enjoyment is considered.

Its perfect for families, even having a bath which i have not seen at a campsite before! I would highly recommend this site.

Syntes ikke om Nothing to dislike. The only thing I would improve is having a freezer for ice packs. The shop do sell frozen bottles of water for £1 which do the job and are ok but ice blocks are easier.

Syntes om The site was lovely, clean, modern facilities. There is a sad mall park for younger kids and a club house with a little kids club. The pool was also small but great. The site was well organised, and it was clear that this was family oriented not for noisy or disruptive groups. It felt safe for the kids, who had lots of fun and made some friends.

Syntes ikke om Said 40 minutes to beach, it's 40 minutes to see the beach in the distance, cant walk there as its another 5 miles. Can get a bus which is 20 minute walk from site down a road i wouldn't walk let alone take my dog, then its an hour on the bus.we saw people on the site getting taxis. Not very dog friendly, couldn't take her in shop, this is the first time we've ever had that In many years of travelling. Lots of rules particularly about dogs. Spoke to another couple with a dog they couldn't believe it either. And as for having a clubhouse its only open 2 1/2 hours in evening. Expensive site for nothing much there unless you want to book a slot at the pool.

Fra bestyreren: Sorry you didn't enjoy your stay. There are several walks to the coast, each a round trip of about 40 mins. Depending on how fast you walk. Several circuit walks of aprox 3 - 4 km 40 mins to 1 hour, And many longer walks if you love walking. Not 40 mins there and 40 mins back to view the sea,.
Our nearest bus stop is a 15 - 20 walk. The less frequent bus (x53) doesn't involve walking the rural road to the park, the more regular bus from Chickerell to Weymouth is 1.5 mile walk but every 20 mins during the day. Footpath option for most of this walk rather than walking the lane. Taxis are more convenient,
Swimming beaches are 5 miles away at Weymouth. Fishing beaches 5 miles away at Portland or Abbotsbury

Syntes om Good sized pitch, plenty of space for children to play by the pitch and a large play area near reception.
Well maintained modern toilet/shower block, nearby access to drinking water tap.
Lovely swimming pool, no issue booking a slot as site was relatively quiet.
Spacious club house with outdoor seating and small play area.
We enjoyed the farm walk, details shared at book in.

Syntes om The toilets, showers were cleaned regularly.

Syntes ikke om The pool only had half an hour to an hour time slots which had to be booked on the day in advance. The pool only opened at 10am and closed at 5pm already.
The playground was bare and there wasn’t much to do at the site.
The entertainment was advertised to be until 4th September along with the pool. However they stopped the shows and performances on 25th August, 1.5 weeks early. So there was absolutely no entertainment either.
The staff at site has been rude and ignorant with being more busy with their phones than attending the reception. Basic questions about pitch setup or opening hours are a struggle to get answers to.
The WiFi available is on a pay per hour basis.

We don't advertise as having a clubhouse on our park on pitch up, to avoid disappointment when the club house is closed during quieter times. It is a bonus if you are here and the clubhouse is open.
There is a bar within 10minutes walk of West Fleet Farm that offers Food every evening when the West Fleet Bar is closed.
Pitchup in their wisdom have chosen to include the clubhouse in our listing from time to time, when we have purposefully left it out.
Nowhere including our own website is it advertised as open into September.
As a family run family park with a quiet nights policy our clubhouse is open for food in the evenings, but high season only, school holidays only, and closes at the end of August. Again - opening depends on Staffing and stock. End date set at 31st August 2026 (subject to staff stock). Please check before if the clubhouse being open in imperative to trip.
Entertainment is free, but not every day. Board games and pool tables are available in the clubhouse for family games. 2025 entertainment was an hours kids games from 7 - 8 followed by family fun or bingo 8-9.
We have quiet nights in the clubhouse of set nights for our customers who prefer a quieter night out without loud noises.
Playground
We have a 3 acre field for football, cricket etc, with a corner with swings, slide, rockers, climbing frame, balance beams.
Yes Wifi is payable - Supply is limited, this method helps moderate use for those that need wifi.
We apologise if it seems rude when we are using our phones in reception, but if we are on a call to another customer, either via mobile or "landline" we cannot hang up mid call. We only open for a few weeks a year, our staff work long hours, and getting staff is not easy. As with many retial and hospitality venues our staff have been threatened and verbally abused. Please be nice to staff or we will not have retail or hospitality staff in the future

Syntes om The location is great to explore Weymouth and surrounding areas.
The pool is a plus although not heated as suggested but we were lucky with the weather.

The pool isn’t monitored so although you have to book a time slot to use it there is no one checking people leave when they should and inflatables aren’t taken in (which they were when we used it - this being one of the very many rules!)

The rules around this site are suffocating with the ranger patrolling at 10.30pm to make sure everyone is back in their caravans - so no star gazing allowed.

Although this site is very much about being quiet - which was nice - it was taken to the next level by the ranger. In fact, I would argue his diesel engine driving around at 10.30pm is more disrupting than people looking at the stars and enjoying the night sky. On one occasion he “hid” behind the trees in the field to make sure that we were not talking whilst looking at the stars!!!

The older lady in the shop was rude and unhelpful and looked annoyed if you dare asked a question.

We were there at the end of August and they had run out of nearly every drink in the clubhouse, whilst I appreciate they’d be closing for the season this is not a standard I would hope for considering our pitch fees where for high season so therefore would expect the same level of service of others who came in high season.

Dogs were welcome in the clubhouse but only those with their barks removed!!! Friends of ours were asked to leave due to their dog barking, however the other family with barking dogs were not asked to leave.

Many others we spoke to on site also felt the rules and militant execution of these really spoilt the site.

We would not return based on this and the lady’s attitude towards paying customers trying to enjoy their holiday.

The ranger spoke to you and your friends several nights for being drunk and noisy on the park. You disturbed other guests way after quiet time intimidating them and mocking and belittling our night staff.

In the Clubhouse you were asked to take your dogs outside when they barked, When yours and your friends dogs started barking again In the clubhouse you purposefully took your dogs over to other dogs to wind them up to make them bark.

Not only did you intimidate customers around you, you also intimidated the staff around the park and in the bar.

If you didn't enjoy your stay, why did you extend your stay another night. You even asked to extend your stay again and were surprised when this was declined......
