En velholdt, rolig campingplads med rummelige pladser og dejlig udsigt til landet, tæt på Newquay. Gæster roste ofte det venlige personale samt rene, varme bade- og toiletfaciliteter. Pubben og Smoke Shack blev også fremhævet. Nogle bemærkede manglende Wi-Fi og behov for bedre lys.

Syntes om We paid for an electric Pitch and it was luckily situated near to the toilets/ showers, which was very convenient! The toilet and showers themselves were very nice and clean. The staff on site were very friendly and very accommodating/ helpful. From our Pitch, we had a lovely view into the wide open fields which was very nice to look at. There was a pub on-site that was being ran by a Mechlin star chef, so the food was fantastic! We only ate there one night as the pricing was also rather Mechlin star! The campsite itself was very easy to find and we were only a 20 minute drive away from Newquay/ Truro. The phone signal on site was also very good.

Syntes ikke om That everything was a little bit “tired” e.g. the post holding the water tap on our pitch, was rotten and basically on the floor.
There was no available pot washing facilities.
For a pet friendly touring park there is no dedicated dog exercise field.
Not the touring parks fault, but the amount of patrons of the pub on site who parked in pitches and even across the access to the toilet/shower block was unbelievable. We were informed this was a regular occurrence. Shudder to think how inconvenient this would be to people who’ve actually paid for a pitch.

We are sorry that it was not explained to you that there is a sink/washing up facilities in the onsite launderette.
Whilst we are a dog friendly site, we do not have a designated dog walking area. There are plenty of dog walking sites and beaches just a short distance from the holiday park.
Unfortunately, on this occasion there was an occurrence whereby patrons from the pub onsite parked on a few pitches and also blocked access to the wc/shower block. This matter has been discussed with the pub, and we apologised on their behalf for any inconvenient caused.

Unfortunately, the weekend you arrived we were closed due to unforeseen circumstances, as such we emailed you your booking in information. There was also an emergency contact number provided should you have needed to contact us.

Regarding Wi-fi due to where we are situated you would need to discuss and issue with your network provider.

Fra bestyreren: We are very sorry that you did not enjoy your stay with us, Due to cold weather at the weekend the heating/ hot water was taken longer to warm up but we did have hot water running for the customers of the campsite to use. If there was a problem we do have an out of hours phone number you could of used and there was members of staff on site.

Syntes om The park is perfectly situated for exploring Newquay and surrounding areas. Shower blocks were clean and spacious. The park is surrounded by lovely scenery.
Syntes ikke om When we arrived it was really difficult to find the pitch due to very poor lighting. When we did find it there was someone parked up and connected to the electric hook up, so we ended up using the one next to it, which wasn't a problem. When returning to the pitch the next night cars were parked in the pitches and my other half had to go over to the pub and find the owner so we could park up. More lights and better signage and this would be a perfect pitch up stay.
