Silver Sands Holiday Park

Syntes om The site is well kept and landscaped and the showers & toilets were clean. There is an information shed with loads of leaflets etc. and where people leave toys at the end of their holiday, for children who have turned up, which is a really nice touch. Also, there is a good recycling facility. If you don't mind the walk, there is a bus route around 15 mins away, which offers a great service to larger towns and the beautiful Lizard Point.

Syntes ikke om The pitch we were on, was, at first sight, spacious and situated around a sort of semi circle. However, the people on either side of us spread out with various cars and vans, which left us feeling a bit hemmed in. The walk to the nearest bus stop is via a loose stoned, tiny track and over a field, which would be impassable for pushchairs or wheel chairs. The path to the beach is also tricky to navigate on foot, and unfortunately, when we got to the small beach, there were dogs on it and a used, dirty nappy which put us off going again.

Fra bestyreren: Hi Stephen, Thanks for taking the time to leave your comments, I do wish you had shared your feelings with us whilst you were here as we would have been more than happy to address the feeling of being hemmed in. Our pitches are generally 10x10 meters, including your neighbours, so I am sure things could have been jigged if needed to suit everyone.

The path to the village and the beach are not suitable for wheelchair users, but to describe the path as tiny is not the most fitting description. A lot of work has gone into the path from the park to the village to ensure its safe and useable all year round, hence the stone track which is useful for the wetter months. The path to the beach is set through a woodland, a conservation area and an area of outstanding natural beauty. It's a pretty magical place to hear the birds and see a variety of flaura and fauna before arriving at the beach.

Kennack Sands main beach and east beach are a beautiful setting and it's shame that some beach users don't obey the rules. I know the cafes litter pick each day as well as the local community doing regular beach cleans as well. Sadly, these type of incidents happen because of the people, not the location.

Syntes om Lovely facilities, warm, clean showers. Good size pitch, nice surroundings, peaceful.

Syntes om Lovely pitch for our tent. Facilities were great with hot water & close walk tomorrow the beach. Lovely play area for the kids to meet new friends and play ball games.

Syntes om The overall site was quiet and close to the beautiful coast.

Syntes ikke om The pitch offered was right on the corner and opposite toilets which was not pleasant. No options given to chose pitch at booking stage and no option to ask for a differing pitch as office closed. so just had to suck it up and get on with the pitch we had. Wash block is governed to Male-3 Showers, 3 Toilets and 3 Basins. Female-3 Showers, 3 Toilets and 3 Basins so be prepared for queuing.......in the morning and at the end of day.

Met veel schaduw. Electric en water bij de hand. De plek is voor aankomst al aan mij gemaild. Geen gedoe met inchecken.

Syntes om Awesome site with great facilities. It's very quiet which is perfect for a relaxing stay.

Syntes om Everything about the site is lovely. Very peaceful largely due to the time of year well maintained with excellent amenities on site. Easy access on foot to the coast path and beach.
