Beechenwood Farm

Syntes om Such a lovely little place, we stayed for 1 night with the kids and we all loved it.
Added bonus of being able to meet all animals on the farm, and Keeva the dog was the cutest, the kids loved playing fetch with her.
Will definitely be back

Syntes om Quiet and spacious. Well maintained site with access to running water and portaloos (which were also maintained). Fire pits available to use and you can go to the woods to pick up firewood to use.
The ground is perfect for pitching up a tent.

Syntes om A beautiful field! Wonderful to be able to choose where to pitch up. Steve was really helpful and welcoming. Plenty of wood to forage and free fire pits.

Syntes om Good space. Relaxed atmosphere, easy booking and check in, well thought out clean facilities, dog friendly areas and walks. Close to Truro and plenty of outdoors areas.
Solo female, felt very safe and owners very friendly and accommodating. Originally booked a grass pitch for a tent, by the time it came round I had bought a small camper and was offered a choice of hard pitch for my comfort.

Syntes om Lovely location walking distance from Crowborough Town and Crowborough Cross Weatherspoons. Wonderful nature setting with great views. Fire pit and wood supplied. Friendly and attentive owners. Shade around the outside of the field. Port-a-loo toilets. Trampolines and bikes for guests to use. Leisure centre with swimming pool and outdoor recreation facilities, bus route into Tunbridge Wells or Brighton via Uckfield and Lewes a short walk away.

Syntes ikke om £28 per night a little expensive for very basic facilities. No recycling or waste bins so you must take your rubbish home.

Syntes om We booked Beechenwood at the very last minute heading into the Bank Holiday weekend not knowing what we would find due to the timing. What we found was a little slice of heaven with lambs thrown in for additional joy.

Donna runs a wonderful little site and offers the perfect amount of engagement in ensuring everyone is comfortable and enjoying themselves whilst keeping enough distance knowing people are on holiday.

Syntes ikke om - all I could add is I wish there was an additional tap and maybe a worktop as the bending down and water going on the floor could lead to a bit of mess in the wetter months but this isn't a dislike

Syntes om Our stay at Beechenwood was brilliant.
We went in the rain and wind to test out our new tent, the field was huge so we had plenty of space away from other campers. My children are loud so this was perfect for us.
The owners of the farm are lovely, they made us feel welcome straight away, we was allowed to explore the farm and go and hold some baby lambs. During our stay we witnessed one of their sheep give birth! Myself and my children was amazed by this, what an incredible experience!!!
After witnessing life being brought into this world we went off to see the horses.
This place is definitely more on the wild camping side which I think is great, it’s very cheap to stay here and the porter loo that was available was kept clean throughout our entire stay.
We will 100% be returning to this camp site so we can do some horse riding, and just because it was over all a wonderful camping trip!
You also have everything you need within walking distance or plenty of car parks if you wanted to drive. I would definitely recommend this place and we can’t wait to come back!
