Silverdale Holiday Park

Syntes om Everything! staff were brilliant, park was immaculate all facilities very modern, pitches were massive, toilets were clean at all times and the radio was a nice touch, swimming pool was manned at all times by at least 2 life guards, the sauna and steam room were brilliant too, the jacuzzi was so hot an bubbly, the restaurant was very clean and very reasonably priced, the bowling alley was a hit wit our two boys, we stayed over Halloween weekend and it was great to be able to dress our caravan up and see everyone else's efforts, the grounds of the park are beautiful with lots of walks and pathways for hikes, our 2 labs throughly enjoyed the dog exercise areas took, such a brilliant break away will definitely return 5 star park *****

Syntes om Lovely large pitches. Nicely spaced out. Beautiful surroundings views amazing . So many places to walk or cycle . Very quiet . Lots of facilities swimming pool is very clean does get very busy. Steam room sauna and jacuzzi for adults. Restaurant has a good selection of food and reasonably priced everything open till 9pm. Ice-cream is amazing. Cannot wait to make a return visit. Good shop on site and laundry. Loved the 10 pin bowling we had a great week. The Halloween craft sessions were great value for money kids loved it.

Syntes ikke om Showers very clean but only a few showers very close to the wall difficult to shower properly. It is very dark when walking at night not much lighting but that can also be a positive . The blue room where the kids dicos are held is very small my granddaughter was very scared . Getting to the site is once off the main roads takes nerves of stee8 especially when towing. Take it easy and keep your nerve be prepared for oncoming traffic.

Syntes om Fantastic site facilities, pool, sauna etc. restaurant pub food was very good quality and price not bad.
Good location, able to walk to the beach.
We stayed in a luxury camping pod which was nice and had great shower room.

Syntes ikke om Disappointed as no cooking facilities (no hob) in the camping pod. Others we have stayed in on other sites have had a hob.
Would be better with a hot tub as location of pod was very private rather than paying extra for a decked area.

Syntes om Everything .. The whole site is very well kept.. all the toilets and showers were very clean.. The swimming pool was brilliant, the bar and restaurant were great with the food excellent..

Syntes om Lovely setting hidden away great for a few relaxed days away from the rat race. Great woodland walks for my dog Dolly. Quirky accommodation be small if more than 2 adults and a few children. Would deffo recommend the site well kept immaculate facilities.

Syntes om Site was lovely and clean. Staff all lovely and couldn’t do enough for us. The pool was lovely and warm and the bowling very enjoyable. We had a fabulous weekend

Syntes om We stayed in the Hideaway. Lovely and secluded, clean and well presented little cabin. Would be good for couple's getaway

Syntes ikke om This cabin is not suitable for young children. There is a steep ladder to the first floor bed area which would be disaster if they fell from, we found we were constantly having to stop them from trying to climb the ladder so couldn't relax during our stay. One of the ground floor beds it very high up, both beds on the ground floor have large gaps round the edge and and metal frames with springs that are not suitable for young children to sleep on, you have to wedge all the gaps with cushions but there are not enough cushions in the cabin for safe sleeping. Slightly claustrophobic for a family of 4 and not excellent value compared to other holiday parks in the area. Soft play was closed during our stay. Also the cabin was about 15 minute walk from the facilities

We appreciate your concerns regarding safety and suitability for young children, we appreciate this accommodation did not feel suitable for your family. The dens do get booked up very far in advance and are popular with families but we appreciate with smaller children, this may have been difficult. We would suggest a Luxury Pod or Holiday Home where the beds are all on one level and more suitable.

We’re sorry the soft play was closed during your stay, this is very unfortunate as this was closed for a minimal period to allow us to fully refurbish and was open very soon afterwards. As the dens and pods are located in the woodland area, there is a short walk to the main facilities on park.

Syntes om The pitches are lovely and spacious the toilet and shower block where so clean and very posh ,the swimming pool area was lovely and clean and very quite , the food was lovely ,we enjoyed a game of bowling , the staff where friendly

Syntes ikke om Nothing relie apart from the soft play was closed for upgrade so we went to greenlands farm for the day and even there was lovely but soft play was shut during the week and only open weekends , we found it a little bit hard to get to with caravan but just have to take a steady drive as tight bends and small roads

We appreciate your understanding about the soft play upgrade—it was being improved for an even better experience next time and is now up and running, already a huge hit with the children.
