Syntes ikke om Litter and tab ends all over the pitches. Plus dog muck as dogs roamed free. This is no fault of the site it's the people who stay there.

Syntes om We enjoyed our short stay over the weekend. There was plenty of space to choose from when pitching and all amenities clean, warm and working. The kids park was a huge hit and was really busy almost all day.
The swimming pool on site is a fantastic opportunity as is the popular Fish and Chip shop.

Syntes ikke om Toilet and showers were tired, cold and very unclean. I chose not to use them finding alternatives elsewhere. Staff were regularly in there cleaning but site is very big and very busy. We didn’t find it child friendly either. We stayed in a tent on the overflow field which was incredibly noisy with bar noise and groups of very inconsiderate rude, drunk people. Too many tents for the space.

Fra bestyreren: Thank you for your feedback. We’re pleased to hear you enjoyed the shop, fish and chips and that your little one loved the pool. For this reason, it’s surprising to read that you found the site not child friendly, as many families, including your own, enjoy these facilities.

With regard to the overflow field, the photographs we use on the pitchup advert show it at full capacity. During your stay the field was less than 50% full, though it was indeed a busy August weekend. Entertainment in the bar finishes at 10pm, so noise is kept to a minimum from our own facilities at night. We do have staff monitoring the toilets, and while you found them not to your liking, our cleaning teams were working regularly throughout the day.

We feel a score of 1/10 is very harsh given your positive comments and the enjoyment your child had during your stay. Nonetheless, we appreciate you sharing your thoughts as we continually look for ways to improve.

Syntes om Great atmosphere for families at the campsite. The playground was pretty good but my kid just liked running around with all the other kids in the overflow field. The pool was lovely and warm and perfect for helping our 5yr old to become more confident in water. Facilities were always available. The shop was helpful and fish and chips were pretty good too.

Syntes ikke om It was very busy from Friday -Sunday in the overflow field and I think it wouldn’t be too hard to add a toilet block in that field.
It’s a windy spot due to its location. Nothing to be done about that but worth noting.

The overflow field is only used on a handful of very busy weekends each year, so unfortunately it would not gain planning for a toilet block. Syntes om The open, non-electric camping field was perfect. We were camping with two 5-man tents with plenty of space on a level pitch with beautiful views of the sea, the sunsets and across the bay to Scarborough.
4 kids aged 18m-10yrs who all loved the play area, the evening entertainment and especially the swimming pool.
A well stocked shop gave the kids chance to spend their holiday money, as well as selling the things we needed to restock our camping kitchen.
We never got the chance to experience the on-site fish and chip shop, but the smell walking past was wonderful.
Fantastic pot wash facilities in a covered area.

Syntes ikke om Unfortunately the toilet facilities, were not very clean. Through no fault, I'm sure, of the site staff. I saw teams working both morning and afternoon.
It's a shame that people feel the need to leave used toilet paper all over the floors in most cubicles, almost immediately after the cleaning teams had been in.
Taking small kids in was not a pleasant experience.

Syntes om The views, the beautiful coastal path, the fair prices at the shop and bar, the facilities are plentiful, no queue for toilets or showers.

Syntes ikke om The toilets, showers and pool area are not kept clean, campers playing music at night and no staff presence, though it’s great choosing your own pitch it also means people are free to pitch up close.

Syntes om We really enjoyed our stay there and it was our first time on the site too.
The site is lovely and spacious and has some fantastic views which we walked across a few times.
The facilities were also very clean and no litter around as there was plenty of rubbish bins.
There was no need to leave the site as there was plenty to do.
The staff were also very friendly and welcoming.
