Grove Farm Campsite

Syntes om Beautiful location, the views were stunning. We received very detailed arrival instructions from the owners on the day which was really helpful. You could pick your own spot to pitch up (non electric only) and the site was clean - no litter or leftover mess from other visitors. Overall really easy and great value!

Syntes ikke om Anyone visiting should be pre-warned about the roosters!!! They started at 3.30am and were still going at 10.30am when we left. This really made for a challenging nights sleep ….but if you’re ok with the sounds of the countryside then you’ll be fine! The site also needs better/bigger signage from the road.

Syntes om It is a lovely site in the trees and next to a field. Clean, quiet and simple. Fire pits and log benches available to use when it’s not a drought. The compost toilets were fresh and clean and not the ports loo I was expecting. Huge dark skies to watch the meteor shower! Exactly what I wanted. I Will definitely be back.

It’s a 10 min drive to Holkham Beach which is stunning. (£14 for whole parking) no parking at the beach for high top vans at Wells.

Syntes om Easy self check in with all information provided by email in advance. Peaceful site with chickens roaming and scratching around and the occasional cock crow; proper farmy! Didn't use the toilets as had my own facilities so can't comment on them but fresh water, grey waste and chemical waste were all conveniently located. Was aware that there were no shower facilities when I made the booking but hadn't twigged there were no washing up facilities either (although this was not an issue for me, just something to note).

Syntes om Nice quiet site, ( for us ) well laid out with spacious pitches. It is well located for Wells to Walsingham light railway which could be hailed from the Warham stop across the road. Unfortunately as it is August the train was full so we walked in to the station in Wells but other times I’m sure it would be ok. Nice walk to a great pub in Warham and also to catch the bus at the top of The Street with option of going to Fakenham or into Wells and beyond even as far as Kings Lynn. We were with family who were in the tent field and they loved the field and the pitch size.

Syntes ikke om Unfortunately the bin situation wasn’t good. Both bins were full with the recycling bin locked and the household waste overflowing. I had a lot of bottles etc as we were with another couple so I put them in a bag by the bin. Eventually after 3 days the black bin got emptied but they also took the glass bottles which meant they were not recycled. The recycling bin never did get emptied after 4 days so I brought the rest home, not ideal.
We were in a motorhome so didn’t use the toilets but our family members were on the camping field so had to use them. They said while there were only 2-3 pitches occupied the toilets were fine and we did see the owners go to clean them twice, when the camping field was full the toilets became in a bit of a state so much so that my Grandson & Grandaughter in law started using ours. Luckily they did have that option. The cockerel didn’t bother us at all in the motorhome but in the tent they said they were woken at around 3.30am. We would come again if we were in the area but not sure about the tenters.

Syntes om A lovely site, very peaceful and I absolutely loved the chickens roaming! I felt well and truly in the countryside! I loved the cockerel even at dawn! I was in a motorhome so didnt need to use the compost toilets but did have a look at them and they all looked good! I did the Norfolk 100 bike ride so was perfect location ! Thanks for a great stay

Syntes om Love the back to basics middle of the countryside feel. The free roaming chickens are adorable and we loved seeing swifts, kites and kestrels flying overhead.
The composting toilets were clean and no smell. Views over the countryside were beautiful. Trees provide morning shade so no hot tents from 6am. Sadly due to the drought no campfires allowed but absolutely understandable. Weirdly even enjoyed being woken up by the cockerels.

Syntes om Everything, can’t say bad word about this campsite to be honest. Lovely and clean. No rubbish. Toilets are always clean. The owner called Jessica is lovely and always there to help you with anything you need. Texted her asking if any local camping shops as missing something for my gas cooker and she text back straight away and helped me.

Syntes ikke om Nothing amazing campsite! Plenty of things to do near by and visit. Lovely beach which is short drive away.
