Pine Cones Caravan and Camping

Syntes om: Had a wonderful stay at Pine Cones this weekend. Every thing from the detailed self check in to the site facilities were great. The welcome pack was so helpful in giving us details of the local area, including directions to the local shop. The on site pub was lovely and welcoming, and the food from the on site cafe was delicious. Also very impressed with how dog friendly the site is and our pup had a very relaxing time too.. We had a fantastic stay and will definitely be back.

Syntes ikke om: The only small issue we had was with finding our pitch when we arrived. As there were no numbers on the pitch posts, we only realised after we parked up that the pitch number was on the ground (it was a little weather worn and sunken into the grass, so very hard to spot). The welcome pack gave us a detailed map with our pitch hightlighted, but we only really knew it was the right pitch as it was the only empty one on the row! Some painted numbers on the posts would help a lot.

Syntes om: Such a lovely, clean and friendly site. It's very family friendly, the facilities are modern, clean and well looked after and the staff are really helpful and polite. It was our child's first time away camping and it's safe to say the site really enhanced her experience. The pitch sizes are also generous, and the benches/ pergola were great for when the sun was blazing.

Syntes ikke om: The road is quite close, and can be busy and loud at night when the campsite settles down. It didn't bother us, but it's just a note for location.

Syntes om: Lovely clean site. The kids enjoyed playing on the park. The bar was well stocked and we enjoyed the food both nights. Brilliant toilet concept, so nice to have showers, toilet and sink all in one, perfect for kids. Very quiet after 9.15 which was perfect for staying as a family, it wouldn’t be suitable if travelling in a group.

Syntes ikke om: The road is quite loud as were various dogs but the site obviously can’t control that. The pitch was quite small but we do have a large tent. The music in the toilets became annoying after the first day. I would suggest some form of floor partition for the shower as the while room becomes wet.

Syntes om: Clean facilities and generally well maintained. Within walking distance of Dershingham (25-30 minutes). On the bus route along A149.

Syntes ikke om: Loud music radio station playing in the bathrooms; there was a ‘quiet’ room, but radio could still be heard from next door.

Syntes om: Friendly atmosphere, staff in bar and takeaway were lovely and very helpful. Toilets were clean and the children especially enjoyed the music! They wanted to have a toilet disco! 🤣

Syntes om: Just got back from a 3 night stay at Pinecones. Wow our pitch was brilliant. We had a table and bench on our pitch, which came in very handy. We had plenty of room which is always a bonus. The individual toilet/showers was brill and very clean, loved the music being played while using the facilities. The area is very well kept and maintained. Bens bar is very nice with plenty of seating inside and out. The kids play area is good, my granddaughter loved that. The watching hut, with binoculars is very good. The onsite shop is good and well stocked. The staff are very friendly and always smiling. We did a little walk trying to get to the beach, took a wrong turn on our walk, but we saw lots of different birds and animals along our way, This site is very dog friendly which is always a bonus. Overall I would definitely recommend this site to anyone.

Syntes om: Great location and easy to find. We liked the facilities were clean and heated and the music was a nice touch. We also liked the idea of the little pub on the site, unfortunately we didn’t get to use it as it was closed on Sundays. Wi-fi worked well.

Syntes ikke om: Excessive noise from one family on the play park was an irritation, but not the park’s fault. If we return we’d book early and request a pitch further back. A warning to anyone using an awning, don’t leave food in there. An animal managed to get into ours in the early hours and whilst there was no food, it pulled a few things about looking. Again, not the park’s fault, it’s a rural area.

Syntes om: Lovely quiet site. Perfect location with walks to sandringham and the beach. Friendly pub on site serving delicious fish & chips ! Liked the idea of a shower room rather than separate shower and toilet which were kept very clean

Syntes om: Despite the constant thunderstorms, the grounds soaked the water up pretty well, facilities were great, food onsite was nice. Overall, really pleased, will visit again.
