Wrekin View Retreat

Syntes om: A lovely place to stay with beautiful views all around. Kate was a great host, she was very friendly and made the whole process from booking to leaving so easy and pleasant. We loved the quiet and idyllic grounds and surroundings. We were greeted by their friendly cat and even got to see a peacock the next morning as he was strolling around the courtyard. The facilities are just what you need, clean and accommodating. Perfect for a short stay.

Syntes om: Beautiful site, very peaceful, lovely host who was extremely helpful and friendly! Wish we had a chance to explore the area a bit more as it was gorgeous (just very, very wet!) Booked as we wanted an adults only, relaxed, dog friendly space, with the ability to have a camp fire. It certainly delivered on all counts.

Syntes ikke om: The weather was awful so was limited things to do within walking distance, so make sure you take all food/drinks/supplies.

Syntes om: Nice new gravel drive to park on, sheltered by the Stables, with a lovely view (and sound) of the Weir bellow. Great, informative and genuinely friendly communication. Genuinely rustic facilities (first time I’ve ever showered in a stable stall!), but that just added to the charm 😎

Syntes om: Great stay at Wrekin View retreat. Communication prior to arriving was excellent with great directions and information. We were the only people staying the night so had choice of 2 pitches as the grass pitches were not in use due to it being winter. Owners so friendly and welcoming, even though we arrived as Wolves were playing! View of the Wreckin from the pitch was fantastic, and watching the sun rise behind it was superb. Level pitches, didn't even need power lead as on site ones reached the van. So quiet and peaceful, and the shower is something to be seen and experienced. WIFI signal excellent too.
