The Shires Park

Syntes om Lovely well kept site in a fantastic location. Shower and toilet block is the best we have ever used. Onsite bar with plenty of seats and a log burning stove is an excellent touch. Bar is stocked with plenty of local beers and ciders. The owners Diane and Dave can’t do enough for you and are a credit to the lovely site.

Syntes om This was my first time camping in a long time and I am so happy we chose this campsite for our weekend getaway. The staff, the facilities , the views, the bar were all excellent and I cannot wait to go back! If you’re still deciding where to camp, go to the Shires Park! Thanks so much again :)

Syntes om Everything! Great little site, had everything we wanted with a relaxed feel. The owners were lovely and had thought of just about everything to make our stay brilliant. The had BBQ's, fire pits, fuel, logs available at reasonable prices. The "club house" was great with a well stocked bar and dining tables, the beer garden was lovely in the sunshine. A big bonus was they did very, very good breakfast sandwiches, all very good quality local ingredients and cooked to order and to prefection. The bathroom block was immaculately clean and even had some complimentary supplies for anything you had forgotten. I can't prise this place enough, we'll definitely return next year. Out of 10 stars I would give it a 15!!!

Syntes om Everything was perfect. Toilets and showers excellent, clean site. You can hire fire pits and barbecues for the duration of your stay. Loved that there was a bar. Owners extremely friendly and helpful. Also great it was adults only.

Syntes om Received a very warm welcome from our lovely hosts. Nothing was too much trouble. Spotlessly clean facilities. A very relaxed, enjoyable stay. Would definitely stay again.

Syntes om Lovely countryside views from the site. Dog run. Almost flat pitches. Bar on site and beer garden. As others have said exceptionally clean facilities. The site has a relaxed atmosphere and the owners make you feel very welcome. My friend and I will definitely visit again

Very clean facilities and the bar is a great touch as an area for a drink or to chill in away from the tent.

The breakfast sarnies are 10/10. I’ll be going back

Syntes om Last minute decision to get away and try out camping again...what an absolute find. This adults only campsite is absolutely incredible and has made me get a bug for camping again. Set in beautiful surroundings, with an immaculately kept toilet and shower block, a great well stocked and well priced bar and run by 2 lovely salt of the earth people who made it such a great welcoming and fun experience. If you have dogs there is also a special dog walking area too and if you like firepits and barbecues all can be hired here aswell. Thank you Di and Andy. We will definitely be returning and spreading the word to any keen campers who want to get away without kids.
