Syntes ikke om Shower and toilet facilities could be updated. The large bin for everybody's rubbish was overflowing from Fri when we arrived till Sunday,even though there was only a handful of campers.

Syntes om Outstanding area - beautiful views from every angle! Spacious pitches - don’t feel overlooked.

Syntes ikke om One shower for whole site. Absolutely no phone signal for me (tho friend has different supplier and was ok)

Syntes om Small, quiet site, remote beautiful location. Fire pits allowed. Hook up and tap right at the pitch. Facilities clean. Surrounded by nature.

Syntes ikke om Facilities are basic - not a problem, in fact I like it, just go expecting 3 loos in a container and not a lot else. All clean, well lit and working.

Syntes ikke om Management. I booked at 5pm to stay thay same nigh so it was last minute. At 6:30pm my car broke down on M1 near Loughborough. I was stranded for the night, so I called them to cancel and request a refund. Was told company policy says I can't be refunded and that my booking prevented other people booking a slot.. Are you serious?? What complete nonsense. I literally held the booing for 90 mins on the same day. The bloke I spoke to was called Andrew, he arrogant and rude. Told him I broke down (with a 3 year old btw) and he just hung up on me. I called him back countless times with no answer. I texted him and he finally had some cojones to answer me but just said I can't be refunded due to company policy. No empathy whatsoever. Just a money grabber. Literally stole my money. Easy work for him. People that behave like that will receive karma for sure.

We’re sorry to hear about the circumstances surrounding your booking and the breakdown you experienced, especially while travelling with a young child. We understand how stressful and frustrating that situation must have been.

However, bookings made for the same day are subject to our cancellation policy, which is clearly stated at the time of booking. As your reservation was made shortly before the scheduled stay, the accommodation was held exclusively for your use and could not realistically be re-sold at such short notice. For this reason, the booking remained non-refundable under our policy.

That said, we take concerns regarding customer service very seriously. We are disappointed to hear that you felt the interaction was rude or lacking in empathy, and we will review your comments internally. While we must apply our booking policies consistently, we always aim to communicate them professionally and respectfully.

Would definitely choose to stay again

It's difficult with private drives and owners obviously trying their best would not stop me from staying again

Syntes om Lovely setting, the friendly cows in the adjacent feild is a bonus. Pitches are clean and flat. Very laid back feel. Set back from the road. Worked for a local, overnight stay.

Syntes ikke om More basic than I was expecting. No hot water in the washing up area. One basic toilet. Several, very loud cockerals that called from 1am repeatedly so no sleep was had! Obviously this is the nature of a farm but someone needs to teach them the time.... 🤣

Iam not sure where you got 1 basic toilet from as there are 3 toilets?
This is stated on pitch up.

Syntes om gorgeous surroundings, grounds were amazing to set up camp on and the facilities were fabulous too.

bonus points for the friendly cats that appeared too!!!

Syntes om Great views, spacious pitches with taps and electric hookups close by. Toilets and shower were maintained and acceptable, but basic. The animals in the fields nearby were so lovely to see. Nice small site with perhaps only 20 pitches. Nice and calm site with people having a fun and relaxing time, but respectful to others. Good vibes!

Syntes ikke om A little noisy with the farm animals, was OK for us, but thought should mention it for those who need a full nights’ sleep.

Syntes om Loved the campsite, facilities were clean and well kept. We had pitch next to the cows and sheep and loved watching them

Syntes ikke om No onsite campsite manager meant some people didn't pitch up in pitches we got unlucky with someone pitching their tent directly next to us instead of the middle of the pitch so we didn't have much privacy and the noise level was louder and a campervan coming in very late each night (10.15pm) and pitching on the side of our pitch
