Em va agradar Good sized pitch, clean toilets and showers, accessible bathroom (life saver as the step into the showers is quite high for me), friendly owners and - the Ducks! Great location too but you do need to be able to drive. The site was full towards the end of our stay but there were more than enough facilities for everyone. We had a very relaxed stay, it has a very family friendly feel.

No em va agradar Didn't dislike anything other than having to pay extra for my tarp, lots of places seem to be charging for extras but it's just a bug bare of mine. The only other comments would be that the walk to the beach is more like 40-45 mins rather than the 20 mins stated on the website 😆 and the pool opening times are a bit restrictive for the summer holidays, it's quite a small pool and was busy so not much opportunity for a swim without avoiding crashing into people.

Em va agradar The pitch, the people, the chilled atmosphere. Once again we had another amazing holiday. The pitch was beautiful and we had Bats, Water Voles, Swans, Ducks, Nutrias and Plum Trees for company. I didn't want to leave. The pool is always clean, as are the rest of the facilities.

Em va agradar The campsite is in a stunning setting not too far out of Keswick and close to some excellent walks and Watersports centres. We had lots of rain so weren't brave enough to walk the entirety of the lake, but the site is close enough to allow for it and it took us an hour to saunter into town. Cat Fells is very close too. The toilets and showers were well maintained and clean, despite the rain bringing a bit of mud (which was coned off). My boys enjoyed watching the bats above whilst eating smores around the campfire. £12 deposit and £8 for the wood, you get £5 back on return of the pit. We had a lovely stay, despite our tent deciding to leak! We'll definitely stay again.
