Em va agradar - All the staff we spoke to were really friendly and would make conversation and talk to the kids etc. - Pop up shop for essentials, fresh milk and meats, icecreams and camping supplies with optional add ons like charging phones and purchasing ice is handy for non-electric campers! -Pizza van on site on Friday and Saturdays is an absolute winner! -Toilets and showers are clean, staff were constantly replenishing toilet rolls and in and out cleaning. Some complaints on other reviews about the smell of toilets had me a bit anxious, but they were very clean and there’s always going to be a small smell from attempting to manage sewage in the middle of a field with everyone using them of course! -Lovely big fields and you can choose where to pitch. The site was quite busy, but we still felt we had plenty of space and it was quiet at night. - The site allows groups, but staff were vigilant with noise levels beyond certain times. -You can cut through to Cannock Chase to the Gruffalo trail and access the parks within a 5 minute walk.

No em va agradar Not really a dislike, but would love it to be open for a few more weekends or during week throughout the main season May-September.

Em va agradar It’s a lovely site, we’ve stayed here before before we had our little one. Toilets and showers are really clean, there’s a park and football pitch area. The site itself has the little river running through which is nice. There’s no shop, but the spar is only a short walk up the road! We arrived a bit later than planned and had an upgrade to an XL pitch which was lovely. They had little picnic tables and a bit more space.

No em va agradar There happened to be an event on the main grass field on the two nights we booked. We were over the other side of the site but the noise really travelled and did keep us up. If we’d realised there was an event on we’d have picked another weekend. It’s a little more expensive than some others we’ve stayed at (£42) per night for 2 adults and dog electric pitch, but the site is of a high standard and maintained well.

Em va agradar Family run- really liked how the farmer checked in on everyone and was so friendly! Great location and scenery Dog and family friendly Nice add ons for the little ones like calf cuddling, sitting on the tractor and we were able to hire wood and a fire pit which was a nice touch
