I’m genuinely sorry to hear about your experience, and I appreciate you taking the time to share your concerns.

We do have both security and welcome teams who walk the park regularly to ensure everyone is safe, respectful, and following park rules. That said, if we are not alerted to an issue at the time, we may unfortunately miss something as I’m sure you can appreciate, our welcome teams cannot be everywhere at once.

I'm also surprised to read about the condition of the pitch, as our service pitches have been developed to avoid becoming overly muddy during light rain. Naturally, with heavier downpours, the ground can become wet, and if guests are not being mindful, this can lead to areas becoming muddier than normal just as it would with any grassed area.

I have not been made aware of any reports of stolen furniture, but I will certainly look into this further. We take concerns like this very seriously.

We want all guests to enjoy their time away while also being considerate of others, and we encourage anyone experiencing disturbances to notify the team so we can address them swiftly.

We also feel lucky to be surrounded by so much wildlife the ducks and geese are a regular part of life here. Yes, they may leave a little mess behind, but we see it as a small price to pay for the joy of nature all around us.

When you book your holiday, you also book a pitch type and area. This ensures fairness and helps us manage bookings properly so everyone gets the best experience possible.

Regarding the taps in the toilet blocks thank you for flagging this. We’ll get the team to check them. We’re mindful of water usage, as we want to protect our environment and keep things sustainable, but hand-washing definitely shouldn’t feel like a game of speed reaction! We'll look into this right away.

We're sorry the sunshine was a bit too generous during your stay it can be tricky trying to explore with a hot and bothered pooch in tow! Hopefully next time the weather will be just right for some proper adventuring.

Now, about those maps yes, we do have walking, cycling, and “furry baby” trails available! They’re usually waiting at reception on the front desk, but it sounds like they were being a bit shy when you visited. I’ll definitely take a look at popping them into our welcome packs going forward much easier to find that way!

As for our food menus, we’ve got you covered! You’ll find all the tasty options and pricing on our website under Food & Drink perfect for planning your meals (or deciding what to tuck into after a long dog walk!).

We do ask that all dogs stay on their leads throughout the park not to spoil their fun, but to help keep them, our guests, and our lovely local wildlife safe. Did you manage to discover our Tuff Mutter area? It’s a bit of a hidden gem, perfect for curious pups to play and explore. If not, it’s one to pop on the list for next time!

Now, onto the shop you’re right, it’s not quite there yet! We’ve had a few bumps along the way, but the shop is definitely coming soon and will be filled with essentials, goodies, and probably a few naughty sweet treats too.

Sorry to hear the shop situation was a bit of a let down. The exciting news is... it’ll be open very soon! So next time, no need for a 6-mile supply run. Until then, there is a garage just a short stroll away for any must-haves.

You’re also welcome to book a grocery delivery to the park, but just a heads-up you’ll need to meet the driver at the main gate, as delivery vehicles aren’t permitted to enter the park.

Also, you're absolutely right we’re now a fully cashless park, so it’s card or contactless all the way. We totally get that this can catch guests off guard, and we’ll make sure the message is even clearer going forward.

We’d usually be celebrating receiving 5 stars, but we completely understand that the issue with the dirty shower block has put a bit of a damper on things. Please accept our apologies for this.

Our Touring Team carry out daily checks to keep the facilities clean, but it seems we may have missed something on this occasion. Thank you for bringing it to our attention we’ll be sure to follow up with the team to prevent it happening again.

As for the odour you mentioned, this can occasionally happen due to the natural surroundings we’re in. However, we absolutely aim to manage this where possible and keep our facilities clean and fresh at all times.
