Afegiu les dades de la vostra empresaThis is a special spot indeed – Valledoria is the place where the Coghinas river and the Gulf of Asinara meet at Sardinia’s largest dune system. Because it’s such a rare habitat, the area has been declared a Site of Community Interest as well as a nature reserve – and, as you can probably imagine, it’s a stunning location to spend some time in.
In the midst of this is Kampaoh Valledoria, surrounded by a eucalyptus forest and with views over the sparkling blue sea. The glamping area here is part of a campsite that’s been set up with eco-friendly policies to the fore – solar panels produce the majority of the site’s hot water and electricity, and guests are ferried around with electric cars, golf buggies and eco-friendly boats.
You’ll probably feel entirely immersed in pristine nature here, but your accommodation is anything but wild – the high-quality furnished safari tents have comfortable beds, bed linen, towels, lighting and electricity provided, along with outdoor seating where you can put your feet up and soak up the special atmosphere of the place.
Facilities here have been kept on the simple side to protect the natural environment, but there’s still plenty going on – guests have access to a swimming pool and kids’ pool, a sports court, a restaurant, a café-bar and high-season kids’ activities and entertainment. And of course you’ll be able to spend time on the beach, either taking it easy or trying out some watersports.
You’ll probably be content to spend most of your holiday time at this gorgeous secluded getaway, but if you do fancy a change of scenery you can walk into town in about 10 minutes for restaurants, shops and the like.
There is a car park on site. Other practical facilities include a grocery shop, laundry facilities and wifi.

It’s likely that you’ll spend a fair amount of time on or around the site when you stay here, but if you do want to get out and about you’ll have a few good options close by. For starters, family-run Cantina Ligios (10 minutes’ drive) runs guided tours and tastings where you can sample their range of wines alongside Sardinian meats and cheeses.
Perhaps a taste of history too? Stop by at the ancient Nuraghe Paddaggiu (10 minutes) or climb up a hill to reach Doria Castle (half an hour), a well-preserved medieval fortress. The seaside town of Castelsardo (15 minutes) also holds plenty of treasures including several chapels, La Loggia Palace and the old ramparts with their 17 watchtowers.
Something a bit livelier for the kids? Try the numerous waterslides and lazy river at Aquafantasy waterpark (20 minutes).
