Revisors destaquen aquest lloc com a ideal per al càmping salvatge, lloant paisatges fantàstics, ambient tranquil i excel·lent relació qualitat-preu. Els convidats lloen constantment l'excepcional amabilitat dels amfitrions, Alex i Angela. La passejada amb alpaca va ser un punt destacat. Tot i que el lloc és bàsic, amb algunes instal·lacions limitades, l'experiència general és molt positiva, amb ganes de tornar.

No em va agradar Only think disliked was that there was no electric hook up our phones died after a day but not their fault as power packs not strong enough we brought if it gad some sort charging station this would be a bonus but otherwise it's perfect

Em va agradar Absolutely loved this campsite! The owners are such lovely people too! We had amazing views of the alpacas which was very calming 🙂 You can also do an alpaca walking experience. The campsite is well maintained, so are the facilities. The night sky is beautiful and having seen so many falling stars, makes the experience even better! We will visit again next year 🙂 (hopefully)

A small and uncrowded site, with a load of alpacas as neighbours.
2 composting toilets, a shower and a sink with running water for washing up.
The opportunity to feed and walk the alpacas was excellent too and we would highly recommend.

Em va agradar Fantastic weekend camping at Sweet Home Alpaca. Angela and Alex were very friendly and accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble. It was such a lovely relaxed vibe and camping next to their alpacas was an added bonus. We all very much enjoyed our 'meet and greet' session with the alpacas, feeding them and learning loads of fun facts. We were also super blessed that an alpaca was born whilst we were there. Thank you for a brilliant weekend, we would definitely visit again.

Em va agradar If you're after wild camping this is the place to go! Fantastic scenery and views, Angela couldn't have been nicer, we had some personal issues while we were there and she was fantastic. Very quiet and peaceful. Only one other family there when we arrived and we had a choice of where we would like to pitch. Great value for money.

Em va agradar We had a fabulous few days at Sweet Home Alapaca with walking the Alapacas themselves being the highlight. The site was clean and easy with a basic but practical compost toilet and shower. The owners could not have been more friendly and helpful and dealt promptly with any issues we had. It was an ideal base from which to foray out to discover other parts of Pembrokeshire.
This is a very simple site and not expensive. It was everything we expected it to be and we had everything we needed.

Del gerent: Your review not only brought me to tears but will also significantly impact our family-run campsite business.
In your review, you mentioned dissatisfaction with the location. It is important to note that our site is clearly listed as a working farm in a rural area, and we encourage potential visitors to check the location on Google Maps prior to booking. It is beyond our capacity to alter the location of the farm itself.
You also rated our accommodation poorly, stating it deserved one star despite bringing your own tents. This rating seems unfair as the assessment should ideally reflect the on-site facilities, which include showers, a shop, a tumble dryer, a washing machine, and a fridge freezer.
Regarding child-friendliness, we believe our open fields provide a safe and enjoyable space for children. We are always open to suggestions on how to further improve, but introducing additional activities would likely necessitate a price increase, something we aim to avoid keeping our rates affordable. You should have come and had a chat with us, and we would have been happy to accommodate you. Despite activities not being listed on our advertisement on Pitch Up, you gave us a one star.
The ‘Pitch up’ site states we have compost toilets. If you were not happy to use a compost toilet, perhaps you should have booked elsewhere.
It's disappointing to note you did not approach us with any concerns during your stay, despite the customer service being 5 star, you still did not approach us. We take pride in our five-star customer service and are readily available to address any issues promptly. On Monday morning, we even went to offer your group a complimentary alpaca walk to apologize for any inconvenience caused by the non-functioning shower, but you had already departed by the time we arrived.
As a small business, we do not receive the full £20 a night balance that you pay. We have to pay to advertise and then Pitch Up take their commission plus then Stripe takes an additional payment. Which means we only really get about £13 for two people per night. Ratings like yours jeopardize our fledgling business, which my husband and I are striving to grow. Your four-star rating out of ten feels unduly harsh and has hurt our prospects significantly.
While we understand everyone is entitled to their opinion, we request a bit more consideration and perhaps a discussion of issues privately before publicizing them in reviews, as it can dramatically affect small businesses like ours.
We work tirelessly to make sure our guests have a positive experience, and a conversation could have easily resolved any of your concerns.
