Brongwyn Touring Caravan and Camping Park

Em va agradar Lovely quiet small campsite. Away from loud busy roads. There are many seasonal campers who were all lovely and helpful. Even when our dog was being a little dramatic.
Lovely clean site, easy to locate. Close to some stunning beach’s, shops. We visited over Newquay and went of dolphins spotting on the boats. Highly recommend.
We loved it and will be back.

Em va agradar Not a bad location, nothing wrong with roads or entrance there as I read in another review. Facilities were clean & tidy but there were very few campers there using them. The pool looked fab and would’ve been brilliant if in use. Washing machines were a great help.

No em va agradar We didn’t see any members of staff throughout our stay which is unusual. A word of warning to parents, you cannot see the children’s play area nor the bathroom facilities from the caravan, it’s a little walk- the other side of tall hedges, I didn’t feel comfortable walking there alone after dark. The children were disappointed with the games room, 1 pool table which was already in use.
We were given a grass pitch instead of the grass and gravel that we had booked.

Em va agradar Each pitch had its own water tap. Pitches were a good size. Clean toilet block and showers were nice nad warm. Convenient cycling distance to Aberteifi, Mwnt and the surrounding area. A quiet site which suited us well.

Staff. Clean amenities. 5 minute drive away into main town with supermarket close by. Lovely peaceful site away from the hustle and bustle. Would stay here again.

No em va agradar Bit far from village to walk, and we were in the shade from late afternoon which was a shame as all the others were in sunshine, but the seasonal caravaners are a delight and very welcoming, offering us to move our deckchairs on to their pitch

Em va agradar Absolutely lovely, relaxing, peaceful place to stay. Met some wonderful people on site, very friendly and helpful nothing too much trouble. We were booked on a pitch with had no shade and it was the very hot weekend, we asked to be moved to more shaded pitch, we were moved without hesitation. Thank you.
Toilets and showers are lovely and clean always.
Easy to get too, google map takes you to the door!!

Small family park with Big sized pitches, not on top of your neighbours, very private.
Lovely play area if you have children, and a good sized field for dogs to have a run.
Close to lots of beaches, pubs, restaurants, Tesco just down the road, petrol station top of lane, main town 3-4 miles away.
Amazing stay going back again for longer in September.

Clean facilities

No em va agradar Narrow winding steep road to site.
Nothing close by as you have to walk a fair way to a shop/bus stop.
No view of anything at all from where we were. Partially deaf husband was asked to turn his music down at 8.45pm by owner as one person in the cottages they also rent out complained. Luckily the site was quite empty, i’d dread to think how they would manage with a group of children playing loudly in the play area which is very close to the cottages?

Our pre-arrival information explains that Brongwyn is a peaceful countryside campsite, around half a mile from Penparc village, which has two mini marts, and three miles from Cardigan, where there are supermarkets, shops, cafés and other amenities. Many guests choose us because of the tranquillity of our rural location.

The access road is a typical country lane for this part of West Wales and is used regularly by touring caravans and motorhomes.

Our quiet-site policy, outlined in the pre-arrival information sent to all guests, asks everyone to be considerate of others and helps maintain the peaceful atmosphere that many visitors value. This applies equally to music, televisions, dogs and general noise. Children are, of course, very welcome to enjoy the play area, but we also ask families to be mindful of other guests, particularly later in the evening. We approached you about the music after receiving a complaint from another guest. Although our farmhouse is over 100 metres from Pitch 5 and screened by mature trees and hedges, the music was clearly audible from there. We politely asked if the volume could be reduced in line with our quiet-site policy so that everyone could continue to enjoy a relaxing stay.
