Set in the most glorious countryside, this place is a gem.

Em va agradar The Glenshee cabin was the perfect size for myself, my husband and 3 children (aged 7, 4 & 4). The cabin was well equipped & having a large fridge was very helpful!
The site itself is very clean and very well maintained. It was very quiet and even though there was a lot of caravans pitched up - we barely saw anyone the whole time! The sandpit and swing/slide right outside the cabins was a huge hit with my little boys & they spent hours out there.
We went on the Woodland walk (which starts just by Reception) and the boys LOVED the den building area which I think is such a nice touch. They also made up a “dance show” on the yoga platform!
Location is okay - one day we travelled to Blairgowrie for the afternoon and enjoyed a play park, long walk & pub lunch (this was about 25 mins away), and on another day we drove to Broughty Ferry to explore the castle, beach & look around the shops (this was about an hour away).
All in all, we had a great time! Thank you for having us 🙂✨

No em va agradar I wouldn’t say it’s a “dislike” as such but the WiFi doesn’t really work (but luckily for us our own phone network connection worked fine so it didn’t bother us so much & we was trying to “switch off” from the world).

We really appreciate your feedback about the WiFi too and whilst it’s not always ideal, and something we are continually trying to improve, many guests do tell us it helps them switch off and truly relax during their stay.

Very friendly staff.
Family room in shower block.
Lots of walks within site grounds.
Play area for children and golf practice area.
Plenty of water taps and bins around.
Books to keep and games to borrow.
Local farmers meat available to buy.

No em va agradar While the shower block was clean, it could do with updating.
Shower curtain - please no! It just sticks to you when you're trying to shower.
The grey waste is very close to the water pipe, so unless you have an extension impossible to use.

Em va agradar The owners were welcoming and friendly. Site well spaced out. Lots of thoughtful touches- dog run, woodland watching, fenced play park, picnic areas and more!

Very Luke warm shower in morning. Staff said due to thermostat failure. On positive side was given £10 refund when I complained.

Del gerent: Thank you for your feedback. We are, of course, disappointed to read your comments, especially as the vast majority of our guests rate us very highly and enjoy their stays with us.

For clarity, on arrival you were informed of a temporary shower temperature issue caused by a thermostatic fault. The water had been running dangerously hot, so for health and safety reasons we reduced the temperature until the replacement part could be fitted. We also explained that an alternative shower was available in our family and accessible facilities, where the temperature could be adjusted to your own preference.

We apologised for the inconvenience and, although not obliged, provided a £10 refund as a gesture of goodwill. We always strive to provide fair, professional and courteous service, even when faced with challenging situations, and we feel this was demonstrated here.

We were also very disappointed to read your comment about Nethercraig being “old and tired" and suggesting a lack of effort has been put into the maintenance of the park. As a small family-run business with a very dedicated team, we take great pride in the care and upkeep of Nethercraig. Guests regularly compliment us on how beautiful, clean, and well-kept the park is, and we are proud of the hard work that goes into maintaining it.

We are proud of our consistently excellent reviews and thank the many guests who continue to share such positive experiences at Nethercraig Holiday Park.
