Em va agradar Lovely site nice and clean. Fantastic playback for children. We didn't have children with us but would definitely bring the grandchildren here next time.

Em va agradar Welcoming male staff on arrival. Very clean site. Toilets and showers and dish wash area very clean. Leisure Club onsite.

No em va agradar Bit too rural for us. Put on pitch right next to another family when there was lots of empty pitches but staff agreed to.move us when requested ( just a Privacy thing, nothing wrong with pitch).

Em va agradar Lovely grounds, clean facilities. First time camping with my partner since I was a child and it was a lovely place to visit. We didn’t have time to use the pool but it looked nice.
Showers and toilets very clean. We didn’t use the clubhouse for dinner as seemed pricey but we had a coffee and enjoyed it.

No em va agradar Nothing we disliked but no signal was an issue for us as we had kids at home so we needed to leave the site to get signal and check in.

Em va agradar Plenty of washrooms,toilets, washing up places. All clean that we used. Site was lovely and clean. Except where people had dumped rubbish next to the bins.

No em va agradar Lots and lots of empty tent pitches unfortunately with two young children we were sited next to the main thoroughfare. The site does have a 10mph speed limit however there were several cars way in excess of that.
The onsite shop is tiny for such a big site and stock very little. In fact on the warmest day we were there the shop had only a handful of tiny water bottles left.
It is way off the main roads and a long way from any shop so if you are going there with little knowledge of the place take ample provisions.

Em va agradar Stayed a weekend recently camping ,we found our first visit to be excellent , loads of family’s enjoying the cracking weather , well run very very tidy , toilet block clean and as expected .We will be back thanks to all involved.

Em va agradar Facilities were good and site was much bigger than expected and very picturesque in places. Beaches were great. Staff were all lovely and even did gluten free pizzas for my wife who’s coeliac

No em va agradar Few days shower blocks were partially flooded but suspect that was due to individuals rather than site staff

Em va agradar Nice beach- it was a 10 minute walk from the camp.
Walking routes were pretty
The pitch was also a good size

No em va agradar We had a few issues at this place-
We noticed that the "quiet time" wasn't followed by everyone and the nights were loud.
There were extra charges for everything. The pool was extra charge and so was a table at the restaurant.
The toilets and washing facilities were very dirty and full of spiders. Toilets are unisex.
The website was very out of date and doesn't have any of this information.
No phone signal and the WiFi you can pay for was awful and didn't work half of the time.
Staff could not answer questions

We do state on pitch up about the charges for the pool.
We don't charge extra for a table in the restaurant, obviously you do have to pay for your food.
We have separate toilets for ladies and gents at one of the toilet blocks and the other one is unisex.
Our website for Brighouse Bay is a brand new website, which has only been online for a few weeks, definitely
not out of date.
We do advise that phone signal doesn't work except in some areas of the park.
The WIFI is improving all the time, and is work in progress.

Unfortunately we cannot be responsible for other peoples behaviour when they are on the park, we do tell everyone the rules when they arrive, we would hope that people would have consideration and respect for other customers on the park.

Em va agradar Club house good, easily accessible, clean grounds. Had plenty space at non electric tent pitch
Good facilities, did prefer toilets and showers near reception. Had toilet and showers together.

No em va agradar was on way to tent from club house, around 10 pm . Pitch black, had to use phone to see where we were going. Previous visitor to place had advised very well lit up at night. Paid for use of WiFi but didn’t get good reception.

Em va agradar The staff were all lovely and very friendly. Club house pizza was a 6/10 but only because it was on time and hot .

No em va agradar Well where do I start ! I’m sure the “Holiday Park” looked great in the 90’s or even the 00’s. ( The Website is not how it is now ) . Sadly very run down and not enough staff to deal with it. The whole site needs work, broken fences , tree removal, mess every where you go it’s like an un finished project, It’s a clean as you pitch kind of site . Recycling what recycling , obviously the new rules and HSE must be different in Scotland ? In the words of my 13 year old it’s RANK , loud family groups , kids unsupervised, electric scooters, don’t even start on the bathrooms , Nappies left in the shower area ,dirty floors, , it’s just grotty. If it’s going to keep this many pitches another bathroom would be an asset. Going to said bathrooms at night was a case of dodge the parties and litter in the play park . Open bins, Dog poo bins over flowing (especially at the top of the site near the golf course). It’s a beautiful area and this place could be so so much more. Credit to what that staff for trying to keep it all under control .
