Here, you can enjoy the peace and tranquility of Connemara while being within easy reach of the bustling town of Clifden. Shanaheever Clifden campsite is the perfect base for touring Connemara. Nestled in the peaceful valley at the foot of the Twelve Ben Mountains, giving our guests views of the Connemara landscape bathed in the ever changing colours so special to the area.
We cater for tents, caravans and motor homes. Our extensive on-site facilities include hot showers (included in price), laundry service (iron and ironing board also available), small grocery shop with fresh bread and croissants available in the summer months, games room with television and pool table and covered dining area. Tenants are also welcome to use their own barbeque's and dogs are allowed on the site.

Take the N59 from Galway to Clifden. At the Topaz petrol station, take a right turn onto the Westport Rd and continue for approx 1km. Here you will see a sign on the right hand sign for the campsite. Take a right turn and continue up this road. Campsite is on the left.
