Em va agradar This is a fantastic site that has stunning views and wonderful surrounding walks. Lovely owners who will assist anytime.
Our favourite site of the many we have tried so far in the lakes. The Pod is always spotless and the amenities n there are useful and many.
If we ever have any questions before the stay, George the owner is always happy to answer quickly by email.

No em va agradar The only thing I could say that would improve this fab experience (and it is a small issue!) would be to leave a small amount of tea and coffee, milk and sugar upon arrival; this would make a huge impact on the welcoming of guests (not that we didn't feel welcome!).
We had forgotten to buy milk upon arrival and so would have appreciated some little sachets.

Had a lovely quiet stay

Em va agradar We had a lovely stay , check in instructions were super easy the site was easy to find . Inside was super clean , comfy bed and toasty warm surrounding area was beautiful, we took a bike ride from the site witch was nice.
No em va agradar No tea coffee sugar in the kitchen, just thought that’s something that is usually provided
With the shower and toilet being one unit I suggest you take slippers as once you’ve had a shower it stays wet in there for quite a while so you will get wet feet if needing to use the loo.

Em va agradar The location was perfect, such a beautiful setting surrounded by nature with swallows whizzing overhead. Wonderful walks straight from your door. The local village has some great places to eat too!

Perfect stay if you looking quiet place

Em va agradar The place and lodge was beautiful. Each small house have decking which is handy while is raining outside. Location is good as close to local shops and chippy. Clean and fully equipped kitchen and bathroom. Not problems with hot water or heating everything works fine and owner been helpful and friendly couldn’t expect more

Em va agradar 3rd year in a row staying here and it was perfect as always , clean , beautiful and the best place in the lakes to stay - no internet or phone signal was perfect for a weekend away .

Em va agradar Beautiful location and lovely little camping pods. No phone reception which was ideal to get the kids off their phones and back to old fashioned things like talking and playing games. Surrounded by small but nice hills, just right for younger kids.

There are great walks for little kids but if you want more challenging hills, head into Kentmere for the Kentmere Horseshoe. Quite a steep climb up Garbon but great views over to High Street and Mardale. Hope to see you again.
