Aquest càmping té instal·lacions netes i modernes, dutxes excel·lents i personal amable. La ubicació és ideal per explorar Ullswater i els cims propers, amb serveis útils com botiga i fish and chips. Em va agradar -Welcoming and helpful staff
-Lovely site with excellent facilities - we didn't end up buying anything from the shop but it was really well stocked. We used the bar a couple of times and the coffee shop
-Toilet blocks were really clean, and evidence of daily cleaning. They were always quiet, plenty of toilet cubicles and showers
-We could choose where we wanted to pitch our tent, there were no assigned plots which gave us more flexibility
-Secure site with barrier
-Freezer to use in the laundrette so we could keep our ice blocks cold, really handy to have
-Lots of places for drinking water available
-Undercover area with plug sockets was handy to recharge our powerbank
-Free WiFi available which was really strong throughout the site, only dropped a couple of times
No em va agradar -We didn't see any family showers. Next time, we will be coming with a child so this would be useful to have

Brilliant campsite for the entire family!

Em va agradar Beautiful setting with ample facilities. It is kept very clean and the staff are friendly and welcoming. The toilet and shower facilities were immaculate. There is a pitch for everyone, from more secluded grass pitches to electric ones right in the thick of it.
The kids loved the park and there are lots of beautiful walks from the campsite, as well as attractions a short drive away. Great place to stay for family groups, couples, you name it. We will definitely be back.
For those wanting to go to Aira Falls, you can walk there from the site. Take the trail from the rear of the campsite and turn left at the once you cross the stream. Also, there are buses on weekends that stop at the entrance of the campsite. UB1. A really handy service.

Em va agradar Site was almost empty in March when we stayed for 4 nights so lovely and quiet but still had the use of the facilities including the excellent bar and fish and chip shop.
No em va agradar Only complaint was that on our last day we had no electricity between 9 & 5 despite paying for the EHU. Was told an email had been sent but we didn’t receive anything.

We’re very sorry about the loss of electricity on your last day. Unfortunately, this was caused by an unexpected outage from the local electricity board, which was completely outside of our control. We did send out the notification as soon as we were informed, but it sounds like it didn’t reach you, and we understand how frustrating that must have been.
We really appreciate your understanding and hope we can welcome you back for a fully trouble‑free stay in the future.
