Em va agradar Small, reasonably quiet site - tractor noise understandable, given the time of year! The 'bungalow' cabin was comfortable with a lot of attention to detail. The site felt safe with cctv cameras in operation. It was really good to appreciate the birdsong and relax in the wonderful countryside of Aymestrey.
No em va agradar The toilet and shower facilities were clean, if basic. Could do with some improvement to make the area more inviting and less functional perhaps... but, the price would be passed on to the consumer. It was fine for the brief time we were there.

Em va agradar Beautifully kept grass pitches, picnic tables available. Small site, easily accessible from the main road. Watching the Red Kites over the campsite. Friendly owners but you are left to fend for yourselves mostly. Lots of places to visit locally. Nice pubs in Leintwardine.
No em va agradar Facilities were dated, no dish-washing facilities. The toilets and shower were small but adequate and squeegee and toilet brushes would have been useful. Would have been nice to have the cafe open, we had been looking forward to the advertised patisserie. I understand it is re-opening at the end of August 2025.
Traffic noise is constant.

Em va agradar It was a lovely, peaceful site.
It did have all the basic facilities needed, toilets, shower, washing up sink.
Access to drinking water
There were picnic tables which were scattered about, as quiet I had one all to myself
Good price£15 per night even in school hols.
There is a cafe which was closed, owner said it had undergone a refurb and would open again in a couple of weeks.
No em va agradar Initially the shower didn’t appear to work, no power. After hunting around the room I eventually found the cord.
The shower cubicle is rather small, I am a petite female and it was a squeeze, I should imagine it would be a bit of a struggle for a larger framed person.
Washing up area was a tiny, comprised of a small sink, there was no draining board. Just a narrow shelf at the side.

Toilets were clean but here is only one shower, so not sure how that would be when the site is busier.
It had everything I needed for one night, as a solo traveller arriving by bike and with my own food / stove etc. Lovely bird life in the hedges and trees. I would return as it's well priced for a tent pitch.
No em va agradar No signs for check in / reception. The cafe wasn't open, which was a bit disappointing - listing needs updating to reflect this.

This site would be perfect for maybe 1 night but any longer I would look elsewhere.
No em va agradar While the facilities were there and some what clean, the doors were open all the time which allowed a lot of bugs in and I probably would not return until the facilities have been modernised. The facilities were very small and there was no cafe or shop open at the time of our visit.
The site is ok but it just feels like a farm site rather than a holiday park.

No em va agradar Wish I had read the last review before booking. There was no fridge despite one advertised on website which is a problem in hot humid weather as it was this weekend. Luckily we were only staying one night if we had booked for two the food in our toolbox would have been ruined
Despite temps being in the mid 20s there was a very thick winter duvet on the bed. There were no plates, knives, forks or spoons. Not even a bin liner in the bin. Curtains didn't fit the windows and the blind was flimsy so no light was kept out.
No washing up facilities.
Showers and toilets very basic and could only get hot water out of the tap not good for cleaning teeth.
Cafe and deli advestised on website was non existent. Suggest they update their listing to reflect what is actually there. Which is not much .
