Country Place campground is a great base for camping in the Shenandoah Valley and enjoying a variety of outdoor activities. There are, in fact, plenty of fishing opportunities in the river populated by smallmouth bass, catfish and perch. The campsite has its own riverside beach where you can sunbathe, relax and dive into the water. There is also a ping pong table, a well-equipped communal kitchen as well as indoor and outdoor tables to enjoy a picnic on. A washing-up corner is available for guests' use as well as a lavatory block with free hot showers. Guests are welcome to build a fire under the open stars on the riverfront, swim at night, and warm up in front of the fireplace
