Pitchup.com launched at the height of the 2009 camping season. Leading a small team of the diligent and dedicated is Managing Director and Founder, Dan Yates.

Dan worked at lastminute.com for four years in strategy and online marketing and spearheaded carbonwise - an award-winning service which offset 50,000 tonnes of CO2. Dan's family have been in the holiday park industry since 1970. From childhood until the age of 25, he helped out at holiday parks in north Devon, and while at university set up their websites which took half of bookings online by 2002.

Pitchup.com is inspired by his experience and comes as holidaymakers rediscover the natural charms of the UK and Ireland, reinventing the 'staycation'.
