Liked: Sehr nettes Personal. Wir haben abends eine mega leckere Pizza bekommen. Grosser Platz für Zwischenstopp mit sehr sauberen modernen Sanitäranlagen.

Disliked: Die Autobahn ist gleich nebendran. Da hat man immerzu den Geräuschpegel. Aber als Zwischenstoppein idealer Platz.

Liked: Clean shower block. Great customer service.

Disliked: Basically a car park for one night stop overs, which isn’t clearly identified in the literature. There are no pitches, you are crammed in like sardines.

Liked: Basic site but very friendly. Stayed here in 2023 and 2024. Brand new sanitary building, totally improved the site appearance. Pizza and Beer still same good quality as last year. Great staff and service. Thank you.

Disliked: Wielki plac bez wydzielonych parceli. Parking i kawałek trawy na namioty. Wifi tylko przy recepcji. Duża ilość komarów. Camping blisko autostrady, słychać jadące auta.

Disliked: It was the worst campsite we went to it was awful it was just a car park We were booked for 2 night but only stayed 1 night and very expensive at 33 euro a night

Local attractions

To the lake first, to learn the ropes at the sailing school, take out a pedalo or rowing boat, plunge in for some swimming, or have a stroll or bike ride around the water's edge. Less actively, take a paddle steamer trip for a scenic cruise around the water, or uncover your easel and paints to join in with the many Chiemseemaler artists who have painted the landscape here. Chiemsee has three islands, the biggest two of which (the Fraueninsel and the Herreninsel) can be reached all year round by the passenger ferry of the Chiemsee-Schifffahrt. A monastery of Benedicitine nuns has stood on the Fraueninsel since the eighth century; meanwhile, Herreninsel has two castles, one a former monastery and the other – once home to Ludwig II – modelled on the Palace of Versailles. Cycling and hiking trails from Chiemsee to Chiemgau can be accessed directly from the site.

Admission

Under 18s must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians.

Arrivals and departures

Late arrivals must notify the park as soon as possible. Your booking will be held for 24 hours. After this period the management reserves the right to relet your unit.
No refunds/discounts for inclement weather, late arrivals or early departures.
Units will be allocated on arrival.

Changes to your holiday

Changes cannot be made once you have booked.

Dogs

The site does not accept breeds/crossbreeds listed in the Dangerous Dogs Act (i.e. Pit Bull Terrier, Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino, and Fila Brasileiro) and/or any of the following: Staffordshire bull terrier, American Staffordshire terrier, Rottweiler, any Mastiff or Tosa.

General

Bookings are nominative and non-transferable.
Bookings must not be for more than 1 consecutive nights.
In the event of a complaint, please speak to reception immediately. Complaints which are not brought to the management's attention during your stay cannot be dealt with once you have left the site.
Public areas are non-smoking.
The management reserves the right to deny access or terminate the stay of those guests whose behaviour is deemed unsuitable. No refunds will be offered.
The site is not liable for any refund in the event of force majeure.

Occupancy

Bookings must not consist of more than 1 different households.
Group bookings of 1 or more units (e.g. tent, touring caravan, motorhome or accommodation hire) travelling together are not permitted via Pitchup.com.
Group bookings of 2 or more adults are not permitted (couples and immediate family members excepted).
No hen/stag parties permitted via Pitchup.com.
The site caters for families (immediate members) and couples only - bookings from all other forms of groups are not accepted.
