Simply turn up, set down on a pitch and let the area work its magic. If you’re after an active stay, you can get up to plenty of sporty pursuits nearby, including golf, fishing and hunting. Plus, in Edson, there are other leisure amenities – including tennis courts, a skateboard park, a cinema and a swimming pool – with waterslides within five minutes’ drive (not forgetting a bowling alley within 10 minutes too). Local attractions

Keeping the kids entertained won't be a struggle at Edson RV Park and Campground – with a waterpark five minutes away by road for those hot summer days, plus a cinema and skate park in Edson (also five minutes), this family-friendly park has all the younger age groups taken care of. Grownups won't be short of things to do either, though, as there are local hiking trails to take on in the Yates Natural Area (10 minutes) as well as the greens at Edson Golf Club (five minutes), Lambert Pond for fishing (10 minutes) and cycling opportunities in Wilmore Park (10 minutes). For wildlife spotting and canoeing, you'll need to look slightly further afield to Sundance Provincial Park (50 minutes). The particularly spectacular vistas of Jasper National Park can be reached within roughly an hour and a quarter too, while there's more boating and overland adventuring on offer at William A. Switzer Provincial Park (an hour and 20).
