Serpentine Falls Tourist Village, is surrounded by farmland in the foothills of the Darling Range mountains. The site is about 65 kilometres south of Perth and can be reached with around an hour's drive from the city. The site's facilities include a shaded outdoor swimming pool, a barbecue and picnic area and an indoor camp kitchen equipped with stove, oven, microwave and fridge. There's a spacious washroom block, wifi and a launderette with washing machines and tumble dryers. The spectacular Serpentine Falls and National Park is about two kilometres from the site, and getting there makes a pleasant walk or short drive. Around the site you'll also find plenty of opportunities for bush walks, and in spring you can observe, draw or photograph the abundant wildflowers. Nearby attractions include the historic town of Jarrahdale, Cohunu Koala Park and Millbrook Winery.
