Liked: had a problem with our tent, so chap who runs the site let us stay in a static van rather than drive the 300 odd miles homes. obviously had to pay for it, but we thought it was very kind and thoughtful. Basic quiet friendly site. equal distance to Sherborne and Dorchester. Less than an hour to Weymouth and Portland Bill. Swanage, Bournemouth and Poole easily accessible by road. Needed a break and got one.
Disliked: nothing really,

Liked: Solid no frills site that was great for a layover on our first night away. Very helpful staff, in spite of the fact that we arrived later than anticipated. Whilst not there for the fishing, the range of supplies in the tackle shop was impressive.

Liked: Its uncomplicated, you get over and above what you pay for. The owners and the people that work there are very friendly and helpful but not in your face. Its peaceful and the fishing is good and varied. The fish here are the best condition we have seen.
