Liked: Beautiful terrain, nice old trees, nice lawn. Terein is neat and clean. In the afternoon you can have a beer or wine in the big house, the house and the houses around it are occupied by pensioners.
Disliked: The washrooms are a bit old, they work well though. They are in the process of updating everything and will surely be fine.

Electric hardstanding and grass pitch
Liked: Site is small, pitches are flat. Lovely area with walks around and close to a Pub.
Disliked: We left within an hour of arriving on a Saturday as the site was full of many young children who were playing around the whole site including other people's pitches. This included cycling through the small gap between our motorhome and the fence. Also the fence is minimal against the adjacent glamping site which was used as a football play area. We did not want to risk our motorhome being damaged and having that conversation with the parents. Not relaxing for us and we didn't feel comfortable. Toilets / showers very basic but we would have lived with these had the site been peaceful.

Liked: Great site and perfect walks for the dog nearby
Disliked: Terrible roads getting to it. Thin roads with lots of low hanging trees which caused issues for high motorhome. Too many unruly kids

Electric hardstanding and grass pitch
Liked: The pitch was really well maintained. The facilities were extremely clean and very nice. The bar was ridiculously cheap as was the shop. Very pretty location and friendly
Disliked: Not a lot to do with young children, it’s a great site to use as a base to explore the wider area.

From the manager: Thank you for your 8/10 Review! We are disappointed that you found little to do with young children. We normally have such good reviews for this as we are surrounded by nature and we encourage everyone to discover so many interesting and beautiful things within hidden gardens and water pools as well as all the new baby arrivals at this time of year.. We are happy that you found the site clean and that the location was pretty. The bar is always a welcoming site at the end of a long day of exploring the estate. We would love to welcome you back to us soon! I will pass on all your lovely comments to the Springbok Team!
