Pond field non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked: A lot of green area. Quiet place. Fire pit to buy offered by the organisation which was quite nice. Large area. People were very friendly.
Disliked: To many abandoned old cars, trators, trailers in the area. In a quiet day as I went, it could look like a horror movie.

Farm Field non-electric grass campervan pitch
Liked: I stayed on Farm Field which is just off the main road but it is very quiet at night. The (new) showers are amazing, spacious with plenty of hot water. The toilet block includes a small dish washing area. These are kept very clean. The staff were brilliant, logs and fire pits available. I only stayed one night but I hope to return. The Kentish Horse pub is a short walk down the road, doing traditional pub food and has a nice garden with children's play area.
Disliked: Nothing!

Pond field non-electric grass campervan pitch
Liked: The pond!
Disliked: Booked and received confirmation for pitch in the Pond Field, when we arrived this had been closed due to weather (understandable). The alternative field which we had to find ourselves, had No toilet/wash up facilities, this was a requirement for us when booking. No advance warning I.e. email to advise of this and no staff present.

From the manager: We are sorry that you found Pond Field to be closed, due to the very poor weather conditions. Farm field was open, and most certainly does have toilets, washing up facilities in our toilet block, which is signposted in the yard- and hot showers available in the field. We have the camping phone on us at all times when we have guests, and am sorry to have not received a call so we could come and welcome you, sign you in, and give you gate codes. Please get in touch with us if you would like to come back and see our site in better conditions, now the sun is shining! We would love to rectify your experience.
