Camping pod (no pets)
Liked: Very well equipped campsite, clean shower block and plenty of toilets and cubicles washstands which is very useful. The shop and cafe are a nice touch which although we don’t use, would make camp a very simple affair.. it was nice to have a play park inside the site which my son very much enjoyed with his new friends. Especially important as it was just the two of us away in the camping pod. The Pod itself was better than I expected with so sockets, lights and even heating. One double bed which I guess may not always be appropriate. The location was great for so many attractions.. we visited Battle Abbey and battlefields, Pevensey Castle and the beaches..

Liked: The layout of the site was nice especially if you have children. Has a cafe that sells hot food which is good for when you arrive. The layout of the site is good and easy to navigate to find your pitch. The check in process was very good and simple to do I also received updates to make sure I had my pitch location.
Disliked: The wifi that is on site is really for light browsing and when you check in you are advised it's not for streaming, but this is not a major problem as the signal for the phone I found had no problems.

Liked: The owners were so helpful with the online checkin that I couldn’t do so they messaged me direct. The place was very clean, not too big, child friendly with a play ground for them. Also the layout was in a circle so the children scooted or bikes round safely. Showers were hot and spacious and clean. On site farm shop was lovely and the cafe very clean, tasty and up to date decor. We rode our bikes to Bexhill beach (25 minutes) some hills too. And no midges!!!
Disliked: Grass a little long but it is no mo May!

York 3 bedroom lodge (hot tub, no pets)
Liked: We stayed in the Delux Lodge and it was wonderful. Modern, spacious and beautifully clean. Everything in the kitchen for self catering, gorgeous bathroom and the hot tub was perfect. Great communication with the owners, they answered all our questions quickly and sorted everything so we could check in after 7pm. We'd definitely go back.
Disliked: Nothing!
