See all facilities…Windy Harbour is set in beautiful countryside, on the southern bank of the River Wyre, just 6 miles from Blackpool and 3 miles from the picturesque village of Poulton-le-Fylde with its Norman church and ancient market square.
The park enjoys excellent communications with the motorway network and, as such, has easy access to major attractions as the Lake District and the Trough of Bowland. There is a bus stop a short walk from the park gates and train and taxi details are available from reception.
The area around the estuary of the River Wyre comprises a nationally important site for wading birds and other wildlife. The Fylde coast as a whole is a haven for birdwatchers.
Caravan holidays are available from low season weekend breaks to full weeks in the holiday season in a fabulous range of modern, well appointed caravans!

Right here on your doorstep: Yet there is more to the Fylde coast and Wyre district than Blackpool. The area is teeming with fascinating, quaint rural villages and market towns. Fleetwood's famous market and the more recently opened Freeport Shopping Centre are only a short drive away, all are easily accessible using the local bus service.
Some fabulous scenery: In addition, family days out and interesting visitor centres are all to be found locally. If you fancy going further afield, the Lake District national park is only around 50 minutes' drive away and features some of the most spectacular scenery in the whole country.
Fine dining and shopping: There are numerous local pubs and restaurants offering fine cuisine within easy reach of the park and shopaholics are well catered too.
Local knowledge: We always have a large selection of tourist information leaflets available in the reception office and most importantly, we have the local knowledge to be able to point you in the right direction.

Within 10 minutes drive of junction 3, M55, the Park is easy to find. Leave the M55 at junction 3, take the A585, signposted Fleetwood. Follow the road rill you arrive at the traffic lights, then go straight on at the lights, through the Park entrance and you have arrived!
