Liked: clean and well maintained camp site. Good location, 5 minutes drive from hornsea 30 minutes from Bridlington. We stayed in our tent, the pitch was great, good ground. Beautiful surrounding fields and a quiet site/ not overcrowded which is what we prefer. The toilets and showers were very clean and modern. Take pound coins as you do have to pay to use the showers. There is also a utility room with washer,dryer, microwave, kettle and toaster, again to be paid for but we didn't mind as they were looked after. The tree swing was a bonus for the kids too. The site seems to be being renovated but wasn't noisy.

Disliked: The only thing I could suggest would be a play area/park but that's because we have kids. The WiFi didn't work on the tent pitches unfortunately

Liked: The space, really well kept grass, freedom. Close to Hornsea and shops ect. Facilities are really good and clean even has a washer dryer microwave kettle n toaster !! Work done on the site was of good standard for pitches

Liked: Nice little site. Flat and well kept. Quiet, but a lovely morning chorus from a variety of birds. Toilets, wash room, kitchenette and shower block very clean and bright. Only a few minutes away from Hornsea. Very reasonably priced.

Liked: Clean campsite. Excellent hard standing pitch with lovely views over the fields.

Disliked: We were on the furthest hard standing pitch from the entrance and the WiFi didn't reach our pitch, even when up in the pop top. We had to walk a couple of pitches closer to the toilets to get signal.

Liked: Lovely site, massive pitches. Absolutely spotless site. Very clean and modern toilet and shower block. Great place for a quiet getaway. Will definitely be returning.

Liked: Everything was perfect! We arrived after a long day cycling and it was so nice to come to a lovely, friendly, clean and calm place. Everything you need and a super easy site to navigate. Perfect location and lovely view over the wind farms too. Couldn’t recommend more, thank you! We loved it!

Local attractions

Hornsea is likely to be your first port of call – you can drive there in about five minutes, walk in 45 or cycle in 20. There’s a lovely sandy beach up here, with plenty of places to pick up fish and chips or ice creams, and several other attractions including Bugtopia Zoo, Honeysuckle Farm and boating on Hornsea Mere. The town is also home to a leisure centre with a swimming pool, and an outlet shopping village. For a wilder stretch of coast, head over to Mappleton beach (five minutes’ drive), or pack your binoculars and make your way to Flamborough Head (45 minutes) to look out for seabirds. To see marine life instead, head into Hull (25 minutes) for a day at The Deep aquarium (the free Streetlife Museum, home to all sorts of old vehicles, is well worth a visit too while you’re there…) Other places to visit in the area include Burton Constable Hall & Grounds (10 minutes) and the lovely town of Beverley (25 minutes), which is full of independent shops.

Booking terms and conditions

Admission

At least one of the party members must be aged 18 or over.

Arrivals and departures

Late arrivals must notify the park as soon as possible. Your booking will be held for 24 hours. After this period the management reserves the right to relet your unit.
No refunds/discounts for inclement weather, late arrivals or early departures.
Please pick any available pitch on arrival.

Dogs

Dogs must be kept on leads and supervised at all times.
Guide dogs are allowed on site free of charge.
The site does not accept breeds/crossbreeds listed in the Dangerous Dogs Act (i.e. Pit Bull Terrier, Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino, and Fila Brasileiro).

Extras

A charge of £1.00 applies for the use of the shower.
Motorbike(s) can be brought instead of the car(s) included.

General

Bookings must not be for more than 14 consecutive nights.
Discount cards and gift vouchers cannot be applied to bookings made via Pitchup.com.
In the event of a complaint, please speak to reception immediately. Complaints which are not brought to the management's attention during your stay cannot be dealt with once you have left the site.
Public areas are non-smoking.
Radio, music and TV players must be kept at a low volume. Car doors and boots must be closed quietly.
Refunds within the indicated cancellation period are only possible if the site is able to relet your unit/pitch.
The management reserves the right to deny access or terminate the stay of those guests whose behaviour is deemed unsuitable. No refunds will be offered.
The site is not liable for any refund in the event of force majeure.

There is no reception on-site: on arrival please contact the number provided on your booking confirmation.

Safety

Barbecues are permitted but must be raised off the ground and attended by an adult at all times.
Firearms are not permitted.
Fires, barbecues and/or firepits will not be permitted in dry, windy and/or hot weather conditions.
Guests are advised to bring a good quality torch with them as parts of the site are unlit.
Open fires are prohibited.
